  1. Thanks Tt! You are right about lazy people. Believe me I have seen some lazy ones, and will stand in a welfare line before they will hit a lick at a snake. Some of them are accountable for nothing. Everything is done for them, not by them of with them, they see themselves as having made it to a point that someone else should get their cup of coffee. All they seem to want to do is sit around whining, and crying because somebody else didn't do what was expected of them. If you confront them about their laziness their response is always that your concerns are not appropriate to the welfa
  2. Why should Georgian's NOT have the right to stand in the welfare lines, and be to lazy to work? Why do people in Georgia look down on their own citizens?
  3. When we degrade the people I hear getting degraded; not counting me, but the ones other people degrade. Who are they talking about, Tt? When I hear things like "to lazy to work," "depend on the government," "stand in the welfare line," "always expecting handouts," and "shouldn't have the right to vote." Who are these people. Do they all live in GEORGIA, HAWAII, NEW MEXICO, LOUISIANA, ALABAMA, MISSISSIPPI, NEVADA, ARIZONA, ALASKA and CALIFORNIA, or do the other 40 states have a stake in it?
  4. I was educated here in GA, GD! Is it possible that I got common sense from here? What about my passion; did I get it here? I was inquisitive when I started tying my own shoes, and was always told that curiosity kill the cat.

  7. Yes, I think they are closely related! The word bigot is first recorded in English in 1598, I don't know but one language, and in English bigot is "a superstitious hypocrite.
  8. Why not, dap, it feels good, sir! You don't see anyone else patting me on the back; do you?
  9. Your opinion is just as welcome, as anyone's, dapandlep! You have social, ethical, and regulatory skills, in the area of discussing things. Not only that you have a huge target audience, here on P.com. You don't even have to talk to yourself, as much as I do, in order to get your message out to the public. Give me a little insight as to what I am lacking, as for as not talking BS. I will appreciate any advise you can spear me.
  10. The mother should have been arrested should have been arrested as well. I don't think she was an innocent bystander. Like PC said, what was she doing there as a spectator?
  11. Do as you like, cletus! I will just miss the opportunity to have a good discussion. I'm sure you could go head top head, with me, if that became necessary. I am usually the one to bow out in a head to head, but it would be because I was dealing with folly, and not logic.
  12. No, cletus! Pardon me, sir! I have noted that I am not perfect, by any stretch on the imagination!
  13. I have one, cletus! It's a non profit job. I charge nothing for what I do. I am on a tour of duty. This is a www.site, and people who speak English need to hear what I have to say. Why would I charge my countrymen when they need help understanding, instead of help destroying themselves, in the land of the malls. ------------------------------------------------------------------ My work is a lot of things. It's domestic insight, it's capitalist contrivance, it's an oppressor of false beliefs, it's a liberator, it's art, and when I post on P.com it's theater, and it's all ro
  14. I see what you are saying, as well, e-s! I don't, however, understand how a person who expresses his opinions, which may not be popular, makes a bigot out of him! Having a discussion in the presence of an audience is like advertising. Many advertisements show discussions going on, where a target audience can witness it. A business is not trying to sell anything to either of the two sides in the discussion, but rather they want to sell something to the targeted audience. The business only want friends who buy their product or services. They don't want friends who are not interested in thei
  15. I certainly understand that, Subby! There are now many more millions that are feeling the force to ask for help. People who would not do that sort of thing are having to do it in large numbers. I have taken a hit, myself, but I have managed. I'm so glad that there are people who will share their story. I have not been able to do it lately, but I was working at Habitat for Humanity. Gas was high on me, and the cost of tools I used was not cheap, but I charged nothing to help the people who needed a place to live. I try not to talk about it much, because it tends to get turned around a
  16. Written laws, by congress, have had an attempt to make them clear on their face, and not overly broad applied to their creation. But, we still wind up in court, sometimes, trying to satisfy people's imagination as to what a law means to the people involved in a dispute. "Imagination, also called the faculty of imagining, is the ability of forming mental images, sensations and concepts, in a moment when they are not perceived through sight, hearing or other senses. Imagination is the work of the mind that helps create. Imagination helps provide meaning to experience and understanding to kn
  17. I agree with you, e_s! I will not say that you are incorrect, because I don't believe that you are incorrect. You are a person with high integrity, and it would be quiet foolish for me to argue with you. I prefer discussion rather than argument. If I said you were simply incorrect that would put you in a defensive mode, and discussion would take a back seat, in favor of argument. I hate to argue, but I like discussion, like N i N H, who also likes discussion. I agree about intolerance being an identifying characteristic in the definition of bigotry. But if a person simply chooses not to be
  18. As long as as the temperature falls below 90 it will suit me much better than what we've been getting. I prefer it to be cooler, but below 90 is better than 95 to 99, every day. My poor sister, in Texas, is scorching. She is happy with below the 90's for sure.
  19. Bigotry lies in the inability of a person to realize that they can be wrong in some things that they are convinced is right. Refusing to examine, and to turn things different ways, and angles, or views, is where bigotry comes into play. I have mentioned that I got a nicely made plaque, with just the word BELIEVE engraved in stone, from a good friend, which is also a relative. I knew, that they were probably wanting me to BELIEVE what they BELIEVE, but I have chosen not to. "The people who are the most bigoted are the people who have no convictions at all." ~ G. K. Chesterton G K
  20. I totally agree with your perceptions, N i N H! In other words I do not argue against anything you have just said. What you are leaving out, however, and probably unintentionally, is the fact that corporate America owns the government. At least half the American people do not vote in important elections. The presidential election may be an exception, I actually don't know the statistics. So, I could be very wrong. With that said I am basing my reply, to you, more on the basis of feeling than actual LOGIC AND FACT. I don't know, but sense the people actually did turn out in vast numbers, to
  21. It is not bigotry for dumb people to be certain that they are right, but it is bigotry to be unable to imagine how we might possibly have gone wrong.
  22. We are going to have a party out on Mulberry Rock Road, when it gets cooler. We're going to have Beer and some of my favorite Sauteed Raccoon AH's on a stick.
