  1. Thank you so much, Mariposa! Education in Georgia is about like jobs availability in Georgia, they are both in the gutter. If it was not for teachers, like you, I don't know what would happen to education in Georgia.
  2. I even watch their reruns. I tape the show I am going to miss. They always tell you what the next days show will be about. I couldn't do without these 4 professionals in my life, and it cost me nothing. I am going to have a TV regardless. Thanks, Rookie, for your reply!
  3. I love Paulding County because it's the home of Paulding.com. I would not have moved away if all the people were like PUBBY, LPPT, and the rest of the ladies and gentlemen on here. Some don't even know I care, but I do. .
  4. I figured you would put a little ot that stuff in here, I just didn't know when, BS!
  5. The best thing to do, in this economy, is let other people budget for Christmas. Taking off the Santa Clause blinders, and dealing with the truth as it really is, is the way to make it through Christmas.
  6. DIY is the way to go Ib! I do everything myself. If I pay someone it will only be a ditch digger, and I inspect the ditch before I cote the walls. But, people who don't know how water works had better not try DIY. 2X4 petition walls may be needed, but if I was trying to sane money I would paint the block walls, as is. Suspended ceiling tiles will cover the floor joist, overhead. You can save yourself a lot of money, and your mom might even let you take a loan out on the house for the upgrade. I will come by, if you want, and give you a few pointers. I will charge you nothing.
  7. This was a really good parade, last year CC! http://youtu.be/L0SCSiG-oUM
  8. I mentioned that you can tape it to view later, NC! Certainly you are not one to use insurance when you could find the same information free, because I know you that well Did you, also, not stt the notification that you can tape the show, mei lan? If you, and NC have no recorder I understand you.
  9. If You Won't Educate Me How Can I Learn If You Cared About These Matters You'd Be Willing To Educate Me You're Being Hostile But That Happens To Me Too! You're Being Overemotional You're Just Oversensitive You Just Enjoy Being Offended Being Offended Is Great For You Don't You Have More Important Issues To Think About You're Taking Things Too Personally It's Only The Internet! 10. Believe me, PSD, I give these doctors credit! They are on TV, please, @ 10AM, every week day, on channel 2!
  11. What do you need to know to live life to the fullest? The Doctors — four practitioners with four different specialties — are here to teach you. 12. A retailer's gotta do what a retailer's gotta do, G B! At least they might make some money, that is if the customer comes back.
  13. It's the truth, nonetheless, pubby! I just can't get used to lying in order to help people continue to rack up scores on bad habits. Sometimes we need to be told the truth, even me. You tell me the truth, and I have noticed that you tell everybody else the truth. I try to comply with advertising, instead of reality, but the scrubbing bobbles has never stopped the elbow grease I have to also use. An advertisement would have me standing idly by while the scrubbing bubbles did all the work. ------------------------------------------------------ I have always appreciated being allow
  14. I know how to start a Topic, LPPT, but the reply's I get are from people who don't like to hear the truth, and want me to whisper sweet nothings in their ear. Maybe they will start growing ears out of their forehead, and that will help them listen to the truth.
  15. Some basement are above grad, but may still leak due to gutter problems. Some are a little below grade, and can be dug around. Digging down to the bottom of where the concrete foundation starts. After that, use foundation coating all the way down the side, below grade, and even to the bottom of the foundation. Then, put 57 stone gravel in the ditch where it comes near to the center of the concrete foundation. Install corrugated black pipe with drain holes in it, and then cover the pipe with more 57 stone gravel. For extra safety put a sump pump in the lowest part of your basement floor, and it
  16. For safety, install a sump pump. Find the lowest spot in the basement floor, and affix a drain. You shouldn't have to make but a few holes in the floor. You might even be lucky enough to find that the low spot is next to an outside wall. If you need any help on anything, let me know. I work for "Habitat For Humanity," but I am taking some time off. I live in Cherokee County, however!
  17. I don't believe there is ever enough desperation, in life, to warrant kissing somebody's butt. These are desperate times, folks, but don't do it. Never, resort to that. Even if it means no more scrounging for money for yourself and your family; don't do it. If it means no more driving cars that are 10 - 15years old ; don't do it. If it means no more living in an apartment so small you have to go outside to turn around; don't do it. Even if you have to make baby steps for the rest of your life; don't do it. ---------------------------------------------------------------------
  18. So, any tips on how to kiss butt? And how can I remove the chip from my shoulder? Any advice appreciated, serious answers only. Thank you. ------------------------------------------ One of my favorite teachers once told me that I would never make it, in any small business, because I had an "attitude" and refused to "kiss butt." But, that has been a long time ago, and my nose has no brown residue. I ran a small business for years, also.
  19. This video identifies things as they really are; especially in Georgia. http://youtu.be/AIWTB8POnkg ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- http://youtu.be/oJC8ww8CuLY
  20. What does Heaven have to do with the hell job seekers, in Georgia, are going through?
  21. A lot of them live in Georgia, too, GD! Georgia is a good place to be from. Any other State, besides Indiana is a good place to be away from Georgia. When People ask you where you are from, and you say "Georgia," they immediately say, "OH, I'm So Sorry;" is there anything I can do to help you? Georgia is a Grand Old Place (a GOP). On Numbers analysis of the latest seasonally adjusted figures from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics ranks Georgia No. 50 (out of 51, including Washington, D.C.) for job creation in July, with a loss of 24,900 jobs from July 2010 to July 2011. The state wit

  23. You are right, S & D's N, in a lot of situations. I, though, have a mountain is the way of of mt reception, no matter how good my antenna is. So I have to go with Comcast's basic TV stations. If others, in m1's neighborhood are using antennas, it will be worth installing one, and the rotor type is best for reception in different directions. Thanks, for sharing that advise.
