Thank you. It really wears you down for later illnesses, that's certain. My mom had it in 2001 and ended up in a medically induced coma (during 9/11! That's a weird "what patients here in comas" story.) She was sick for about 3 weeks in the hospital and finally got to come home. Flash forward to 2008, she got sick - was seen by a doctor... said she had pneumonia. That was on a Monday. Friday she was in the hospital, and Monday she passed. It's truly taxing to your system.

Make sure he rests. My mom died of pneumonia. It's nothing to toy with.
