It is sooooo good. I had my tonsils out over two weeks ago and couldn't eat the things I normally get on trivia night, so I ordered the Alamo Brownie Ice Cream and that was the best dinner I had in a long time. I won't make a habit of it (for obvious reasons), but I earned that one and it was delightful!! Yum Yum (Dana P.)

Price of Chicken should be rising after the tornado damage
PauldingPeach replied to surepip's topic in RECENT TOPICS
There was a farm in Cave Spring that was also wiped out of it's live stock. I heard that it was a mess of dead animals. I am glad that I wasn't the one cleaning that up. This sucks. We can't afford the price hikes we are already dealing with. I just wish our country could be like it used to be. -
wow the damage that was done last night

We didn't get much over here in Hiram, thank Goodness. Unbelievable those storms were. I've never seen such in my life. Praying for those who were affected. -

I watched the Tornado's in Birmingham... that was enough to scare me!! They just said that Rome is under Tornado warning from the same system that hit Birmingham. Be safe everyone!

Funny. I had a beaver run out and scare the hell out of me at Lake Ramona yesterday evening when I was taking pictures. I barely got a picture of it's fat posterior before it jumped in the water. I did get a decent shot of him staring me down just a little ways from the shore line. lol And yes, I'm really, really surprised this hasn't gone to the tonk.... lol.

Does anyone remember the storms of 2009

LOL! I'd never forget ToTo. Seriously, everyone please be onguard and stay safe. I hate this kind of weather myself, but I have to admit, when it comes to sleep or worrying about the weather, sleep always wins. I slept through a Tornado once, in the early 90's. I woke up and there were tree's down all over the yard. You would think that would have taught me to be more onguard. Maybe I'll choose both tonight and sleep in the basement. Be careful ya'll! -

Wow... makes me feel old. My dad worked for Royal Typewriter for years as a Service Technician and then left to open his own small business. I remember taking service calls for him. Today, I work for an IT Company. When I started out a few years ago, I started as a dispatcher taking service calls for printer/system repairs. Technology has changed, but it's still the same concept. It's kind of crazy how I ended up in the Modernized version of the same type of business my daddy was in. When he passed away two years ago, we found several old typewriters from when he had his business. M -
Thanks Postman.

Thanks Johnny. Changed my skin.. next up, I think I'll change my name back to what it was when I first started out on P.com in the good ole days... PauldingPeach. I may have to wait for my membership upgrade to show up before I can do that one though. Not sure. It's done! DnK is now PauldingPeach! Yay! Like learning to ride a bicycle again.
