Depends on the food in question... Sometimes it is accidentally on purpose dropped and therefore ruined... what a shame!

The Whiter Your Bread The Faster You're Dead
its mr sarcastic to you replied to Eddie Bennett's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Yup, and I know someone who never ate meat, never smoked, never drank, exercised more than any human should and died of cancer. No guarantees in life, enjoy what you want to and know you had a good time getting to the end! -
The Whiter Your Bread The Faster You're Dead

They are proven wrong all the time and contradict themselves all the time. They way I eat should classify me by any standards as a medical disaster, but guess what, I am 40 and just had my physical and they stated I am in better health than most 30 year olds and I am very rarely sick. It definitely is NOT because I eat my veggies or anything remotely healthy.... -

Y'all just watch... In ten years they are going to tell you that they were all wrong and organic foods, vegetables and water are REALLY bad for you! I will continue to eat what I have been eating and take my chances. I love my processed, cubed and artificial junk food! Now, where are my McNuggets??? Oh there they are! -
Lasik Review One Month After....
its mr sarcastic to you replied to its mr sarcastic to you's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Dang! Don't tell me that about the light sensitivity! I am just going to pretend I didn't hear that! LOL -
Never had Dish, didn't like the channel line up even though it was cheaper. Been with Directv several years and we are very happy with it, we only lose it briefly during VERY heavy storms.

Ok, several of you asked that I let you know how the Lasik went and so far it is great. The procedure itself was a breeze, no pain at all, the only thing I did not like was the pressure from the suction, but that was very brief. All in all I think I laid on the table and was back up in less than ten minutes. We just got back from a weekend of playing at an indoor water park. How great it was not to have to worry with glasses or contacts, it was the most exciting thing to go and just enjoy. I also LOVE not having to clean off my glasses after going out in the rain or cleaning off the fog

That is between 4-6pm only Monday through Thursday I think, possibly Friday. It is a good deal if you don't mind the stipulations.

New Mexican Rest. in Hiram
its mr sarcastic to you replied to DALLASGIRL0618's topic in RECENT TOPICS
We did go and while it wasn't bad, it wasn't really good either. We prefer LaParilla and La Cocina and if you like that, then you won't be impressed here. I had the burrito supreme and my wife had some type of grilled chicken dish. We even had to send the cheese dip back because it was lukewarm and became a big blob within a minute or two, which is not a good thing for a mexican restaurant. -
Agreed... I had a co worker (from Connecticut) who went on and ON about that all the time. Guess who was the cocky one who ditched their car in the last ice storm, that's right, it wasn't any of us dumb southern drivers... I LOVED hearing him whine about where he was going to get money for his deductible. Ice is ICE, just drive slow and don't be over confident and you have just as much chance of making it as the next driver.

Another question about Lasik
its mr sarcastic to you replied to its mr sarcastic to you's topic in RECENT TOPICS
I had to stop wearing contacts because my eyes were so dry and she wore her contacts all the time. So I don't think you can go by that. I understand the hesitancy, it is a big step. But I would say go for the evaluation, you're not committing to anything and it will tell you first and foremost if you are a candidate. It is about an hour or so of tests, nothing bad or hard, just a lot of moving from room to room and machine to machine doing different tests. It was actually an interesting experience and I was sold on doing it after that. -
Another question about Lasik

I was the same way, the big E was a blur of a possible shade of grey! LOL I do love the results. Both my wife and I had it, two weeks since mine and three weeks since hers. I was chicken too, but my brave wife agreed to be the pioneer in our family and went a week before me. I will tell you about the both of us: Her - She has a bit of the dry eyes they warned us about. She went in and had the monovision done (to prevent needing reading glasses). This was a breeze for her to adjust to because her glasses were already off anyway. She said she can't tell any difference now, she just think -

Thanks everyone, I will go get it changed next week. And Pog... It's cleared up about half way, so only yell half of what you did before! -
I had the Lasik surgery done and now no longer need the corrective lenses as stated on my drivers license and don't need a renewal until 2017. Do I just leave it as is until renewal or should I go get that changed?

I have been trying to cancel my local cable service..
its mr sarcastic to you replied to dawneykids's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Make sure you keep your receipt for returning the equipment! I cancelled my service and THEY came to pick everything up and gave me a receipt for it. They then billed me for one of the four boxes a year and a half later. I called to dispute it and faxed a copy of a bill as requested, they said it was too light (it was a carbon copy) and I needed to send in the original. I said NO WAY! The same person can come out here again and verify anything they needed to in my presence. Bottom line is it took them two years to fix the problem and ended up giving me a $5 refund. How freakin generous -
Information about buying and selling firewood

I suspect it had something to do with my complimentary thread towards the Firewood Man because it stayed conveniently bumped near mine. That and reading back in history! Subtlety is an art! -
Information about buying and selling firewood
its mr sarcastic to you replied to Cathyhelms's topic in RECENT TOPICS
I have no idea, didn't measure them, but most fit very well in my fireplace, some won't fit in the back (narrower) part. I did get some shorter ones which I suspect may be just under 18" but am willing to overlook that due to the excellent burning quality of the wood. Ours is for added comfort, and we actually started using it more than we planned on because there is sooooo much wood. -

I agree, I was very satisfied with what I received from the Firewood Man too, I was told how much I would probably get with getting a face cord and I received a good bit more than I thought I would. So much so that I have been burning a good bit and still haven't touched the rack that I thought was a face cord. -
Thanks to the wood the Firewood Man delivered a few weeks ago, it burns amazing! And thanks to Lowrider for the recommendation!

You are so freakin full of it For some it has nothing to do with being able to afford it. I was a very loyal Comcast customer and never considered another provider, yet continuously poor service and poor attitudes left me no choice. I now am with Directv and AT&T and wish I had made the change MANY years ago. The comparison is not even fair, Directv trumps Comcast in so many areas it is a no brainer. But no need to beat you down, you seem content in your Comcast world, stay there as long as you want to, I won't try to convince ya.... I will just sit here and at you a bit more!
