The accident was right before you get to WWPS office (which is where I work). I'm always scared I'm going to get hit pulling into work...there have been several near misses with me getting rear ended with people flying down that hill.

No it was an actual accident. I work across the street from where this happened and heard what sounded like two cars hitting, but it was actually a truck that flipped several times. I ran out of the office and called 911 as people were trying to get to the person and help them. One of the men came back and told me that they didn't look good and couldn't get the person to respond. My prayers are with whomever this was and I hope that they will be okay. If anyone hears or knows this person please let me know how they are doing.

Sounds like someone has gotten a hold of your son's social security number. I would look up the state number for this department and call them to see what's going on.

I would see what they are going to put on the State separation notice before I signed anything. That is what he will be taking to the unemployment office. If he signs this is mutual then he may lose those benefits and they can state on the unemployment form that is a mutal separation and he would not received benefits. Now if this has something to do with his non compete that might be a different story. That would allow him to go to work for another company in the same role. Read very carefully before signing anything....

We went to eat there last night and they are closed....Olive Tree is open and they are pretty good. On the same side of the street going towards Douglasville.

The ladies at New GA store told me this morning that a young boy fell asleep, hit a driveway then took out the power pole. From what they had heard he was going to be okay. Scary...

Margaritaville in Myrtle Beach!

I cooked a London Broil in the crock pot a few weeks ago using Zesty Italian dressing and 1 cup of dales seasoning. It was very good.

Since the original owner sold the Birdie's on Ridge Road it has went downhill. The last time we ate there it was horrible...the one in Hiram still rocks though!!

There was something going on down there when I left my office. I couldn't see because of the hill, but did notice ambulance lights, etc around 5:30 this afternoon.

I knew this boy when he was younger. I used to work with his brother when I was right out of high school. Does anyone know what happened to him?

I have a 10 year old and can't imagine calling the cops to deal with him. You are right though there may not be a father figure and she could be over her head. who knows.

Tigermama, That is not what I meant if you took my comment that way! I reread what I wrote and it didn't make any sense to me either. He was first tellling me that this kid was talking about pulling a knife out (over the weekend) and getting in trouble with the cops. I told him that you can't believe everything that kids say at school (Because boys at this age do brag about things that they don't even need to be talking about) and that he needed to stay away from this kid, plus that I hoped that he wasn't becoming friends with him. I will have to ask my son. He heard him talking about it today and it sort of sounded like bragging. I told my son that he shouldn't believe anything like that from someone if they are talking about it but then I look on here and find it. What do you do though? I explained to my son that it was wrong and he knows that it is.
