In emergencies like this, it's always interesting to listen to the police scanner. I've searched and searched and can't find a link. Do you know of one? We're without power and it might be some entertainment for us!

Wow, you know your stuff! Thanks for the advice. I think I'll call Rainey Bros for an estimate. Great info! -
Recommendations for spray insulation in attic?
aberdeen replied to aberdeen's topic in RECENT TOPICS
I've looked at the explanations of the different ways to insulate. Basically, I want a reputable reliable insulator to recommend what he/she thinks is best. -
I've tried googling, but I can't find a local business who insulates attics. Is there one you recommend? I search paulding.com and see Rainey Brothers in Powder Springs is recommended by one person. Any recommendation (good or bad) is greatly appreciated!

Should I assume that the funeral details include Sammy's daughter, Carolyn, or is it at a different time? -

Oh I noticed the supplemental pushes too. I'm not panicking. I might have a little bit after 9/11, but not Ebola. I just found the top 10 list interesting. A couple of the mentioned items have been things I've thought about doing anyway. Carry on, world!

It is a lot....interesting, huh?? 11Alive just posted this on FB: #BREAKING: An American NBC News freelance cameraman in Liberia has tested positive for Ebola and will be flown back to the United States for treatment. See more: http://on.11alive.com/1E6wRai Here we go, folks!

We just want ours replaced. It's 14' x 26', 13 stairs, 11' off of the ground. I can send pictures, or would love to have someone come by to give us a quote. I don't have blueprints. Ours is 20 years old and needs a replacement. Thanks for asking for more details. We're off of Ridge Rd. by the Kroger, if anyone needs to know the approximate location.

Hi all- We are looking to get a few quotes from some reputable experienced deck builders. Do you have any names and/or phone numbers? Thank you!

It's high priced at $8/loaf, but the sunflower seed multigrain bread is TO DIE FOR!! I asked the nice bread lady which she recommended and she suggested I buy this loaf. No regrets at all!!

I would love the quiche recipe! I tried to PM you, but your mailbox is full. Do you think it can be made ahead of time and cooked the next day?? Thanks for offering to share!

Does anyone know where fresh quiches can be ordered (Douglasville/Hiram)? Does one of the bakeries make them??

I don't know Lisa, but I can't say enough about the TLC given. What a great place!! -
I am 100% for a total change to the metric system. Talk about a wonderful way for us to trade with others. Guess how many countries use our customary measures? Three: The good ole USA, Liberia, and Burma/Myanmar. Decimals are the future, and fractions are in the past. Am I missing something? The only thing I think will make the change tough is changing our recipes and cooking routines. C'mon America! Who's with me?

I shop at Goodwill because it's somewhat of a charity. It also has some good deals, but the main reason I shop there is my belief to recycle goods and help the environment. Why should I buy new and cause new clothes to be produced with dyes, chemicals, pollutants, when someone else has already seen that need and I can feel better knowing that I didn't start that cycle? I love Goodwill! It gives me great peace of mind!

Thank you!! I don't know how you found that. I thought I searched everywhere!

Does anyone know the distance around the big circle of the paved sidewalk? I mean, going down through the trees, around the back to the softball fields and back up to the playground. Thanks!

Trickle down....lol....I haven't heard that one in years! Thanks for your opinion, Citizen Cain. Maybe it is all as you say. All I can do is state my opinion.
