As I was coming home last night, from the Hiram Tree Lighting (between 8:15pm and 8:30pm) on Hiram Sudie, going away from Hiram, towards Hwy 61, a couple of Sheriff's Dept cars "flew" past me, with lights and sirens going.....maybe that's where they were heading...

I would suggest from around Hiram Elementary (at the furtherest point) towards Olde Towne Hiram.....Ben Strickland Park area.....I've been before, and parked on one of the side streets, "going in" to the area....the earlier you get there, the better the parking (closer).......Hiram PD is pretty good about directly the traffic to parking. -
Yes, Near the "old courthouse"

Looking forward to it!!

"Gratitude is the inward feeling of kindness received. Thankfulness is the natural impulse to express that feeling. Thanksgiving is the following of that impulse." ---Henry Van Dyke "Not what we say about our blessings, but how we use them, is the true measure of our thanksgiving." ---W. T. Purkiser "Thankfulness is the beginning of gratitude. Gratitude is the completion of thankfulness. Thankfulness may consist merely of words. Gratitude is shown in acts." ---Henri Frederic Amiel "Sometimes we need to remind ourselves that thankfulness is indeed a virtue." ---William Bennett

Thanksgiving at my brother's in Villa Rica -- and when it comes to holiday shopping, doing it ONLINE! Traditionally, start getting the outside lights up, the tree, etc......up till New Year's, then take 'em down....and for the furbabies, they can have, dare I say, get spoiled big time - not that they're already spoiled anyway!
