Will someone please tell me what roads In Paulding County[/u that are so congested that a person has to sit in bumper to bumper traffic for hours just to get back and forth to work? I agree that hwy.278 in Hiram is congested but..... It flows pretty good And the cleburne road by pass is going to ease that and construction is already under way on that project,And is already paid for by the local SPLOST. Where is all the traffic Problems in Paulding Countythat is going to be eliminated by this 14% tax increase? I am voting NO!!

I support the $100 limit, In fact I do not feel as if there should be any acceptance of any gifts. Our representatives are not elected to receive gifts, They are suppose to be making laws for the people who elected them. Some recent legislation that was passed by Senator Heath and House Rep. Braddock clearly represent those who gave the dollars they received, Instead of the votes they received.

I do not even see Heath in a run off Much less a winner. I think the run off is between Carruth and Rodgers. I will be voting for and supporting Rodgers all the way; Stop and think folks Heath could not carry Polk or Haralson county last election When a nobody ran against him. We now have two Paulding County residents running and if he can beat those two in Paulding County then he deserves to win.

It is indeed a sham, paulette received very few dollars from local citizens, It appears that the balance came from House Reps through out Ga. I agree both parties have corruption, But only Paulding County has three candidates running for office that are in arrears in paying their taxes. This is so disgusting when we have candidates running for office and their salary is paid by the taxpayers, And they want even pay the taxes past due :angry: :angry: :angry: Hell even some received campaign donations from former representives who had to resign from office in disgrace.

Pubby What you and LPPT are failing to realize is the fact that many exemptions have been given to large corporations and they will not be required to pay this additional tax, Leaving the entire burden on the middle and lower income citizens to foot the bill for the entire program. The paulding County Citizens voted for a Fire Tax Levy, Green Space,most recently for a County SPLOST that will provide for new roads, sidewalks,fire sations parks etc. ( I believe this has passed four times) A $ 120 million dollar School Bond, In the past couple of years voted to extend the Education SPLOST (I believe this also has passed four times) A permanent one cent sales tax. I am opposed for one big reason Bill Heath and Paulette Braddock voted to exempt certain large campaign donors from having to pay any of this tax.
