I would first point out that I have not heard of anyone saying anything bad about the character of Tony Crowe. I have met him twice and he seems to be a very decent man. Having said that …. Lppt I have opposed Bill Carruth from day one and will continue to oppose him until this election is over. Mr. Carruth according to the records being posted on this web site owes the County about $300,000 in taxes,These tax dollars if paid would go a long way towards easing the budget defecit that Paulding County is facing today. The Constitution of the State of Georgia applies to Mr. Carruth in the same manner as Mrs.Braddock and in my opinion neither name should be on the ballot. I will vote against both this election and will encourage my friends and neighbors to do the same.

I have not nor will I support any candidate that does not comply with the Constitution of the State of Georgia. I have been very open in my opposition to Bill Carruth and Paulette Braddock from day one.

I have made the phone calls, Talked with the neighbors, Attended fund raisers, Put up yard signs And yes I have also used the media to get the word out. I have no hatred at all for Paulette, I think that she is a remarkable person for putting her name on the ballot knowing what the Constitution of the State of Georgia states as for as being eligible to run for a State office. Why should the citizens of Paulding County be denied the tax revenue to run the county beacause some refuse to pay the taxes. Paulding County employees are on furlow days and are having to pay a greater portion of the benefit package simply beacause the tax revenues are down $300,000 plus from one person would do a lot to ease the burden on County employees and those who do pay their taxes on time. Does the tax commissioner have the authority to collect these taxes? If so why has this not been done?

LPPT The Georgia State constitution is very clear on this issue if you owe taxes then you must pay those taxes, or make other arrangements to pay those taxes. Paulette was elected two years ago and I believe the record will show that at that time Paulette was in arrears more than $100,000 on State ,Federal and County taxes.
