Not sure that you are correct in the above statement. I did not know that this tax would increase the price of Gasoline or Hotel rooms. Heck the State already gets a fuel tax and sales tax on gas. Is groceries also included in this new tax?, How about the utility bills like water,gas,Lights? Dang that would have drove my light bill up another #3.00 this month alone

LPPT We are dear friends and will remain that way even though we may differ on the post #1 candidates. I have supported everyone on the present Board of commissioners (with the exception of the incumbent of post # 1) and will continue to do so. Let me see if I understand this. Paulette withheld Georgia income taxes going back to 2006 and failed to forward that to the State of Georgia? Feelip I live in post #1 and for at least eight years I have not had a commissioner that would represent the people of Post #1. If he has been on the Airport board for eight years as alleged, Then,He would of had to be appointed by Jerry Shearin. Having said that then he would of had to be a part of the big cover up. I do recall being told that No tax dollars from Palding County would be used for the Airport, We all know that this was one big lie, Millions have been used to support the Airport And continues today. I am not a part of the TEA PARTY. If we need more roads in Paulding County list the needs of the roads in the county that will be upgraded and let only Paulding County make the decision to upgrade or build new roads. The biggest congestion I see here is Hiram and Highway 92 Hiram should be eased a bit when the bill carruth parkway is finished using the current SPLOST that was recently passed. I do not see this T SPLOST helping traveling to Atlanta

Proud independent You are really full of it tonight. Have you read the T SPLOST law? Evidently you have not ????? Only a small portion of the tax is guaranteed to come back to Paulding County. We are in the region that basically covers and area from Paulding County north to Tennesse Between Interstate 20 and Interstate 75 with one of the largest populations in that area being Paulding County, Which by any reasoning will collect the most taxes. SHOW ME HOW MUCH MONEY PAULDING WILL GET?

I have stated previously use the State and Federal Tax dollars that is presently collected on every gallon of gas, Some of which is not being used now on the federal level. If more is needed then tax gasoline until you have enough to build the infrastucture needed. Do know that the citizens using these roads will then be paying for the use and those not using them will not br paying the extra tax.
