Cannot argue about many of the opinions on calendars. The reasoning behind the decision after the committee reviewed and the public survey was posted in the minutes back in the early spring I believe. For the record...... this board member DID drive a hot school bus for six years and it's much hotter in the front on top of the engine than it is in the middle or rear with the wind from the open windows. There are a few hot months not just one and you are right it is not fun. Hot is hot and once you get past a certain point it gets hard to distinguish it. Not fun but survived...... N

Mr. Jim Black is the director of transportation. Mrs. Terre Loveall is the assistant director. The OP may have been referring to a shop technician or foreman? I know some of these guys just call if they have a question because they know I will get them an answer whether they like the answer or not. Thank you for posting that is was a rumor. We approved the calendar a long time ago. Not sure which foreman is spreading this rumor but it is false. A four day work week is not a great enough savings to overcome the negative aspects of it at this time. I am still hoping that more concerned citizens will attend meetings and ask for facts so that these rumors are fewer are farther in between. Paulding County, I would just like to take this time to thank each and every individual for his/her vote and continued support. I am an extremely hard worker who does not QUIT! We have a good foundation with our great community. Now, we have to move into the future without leaving our students behind.
