A few of you may remember a couple months back, Nicholas Cole posted some pictures of a little girl, just 3 years old, who had passed away suddenly. I posted in his topic, gave prayers, and felt deeply for the family. They were new here in Dallas and I just could not imagine their grief, their pain. Well today, in my pm box, was a note from the little girls mom, thanking me for my thoughts and prayers. Telling me how much it meant to her and her family as they had few friends here and felt alone in the grief. I was humbled beyond words that she took the time to thank me.... Oc

We have been back in school here for a couple of weeks now I was sad to see the 'summer' end but it has been nice to get back into a routine. Oldest is doing 8th grade this year Started middle bit on 1st grade and Moo is in pre-k

Shameless I know, but I saw some bragging going on over on that other site that mayberrys were being thrown around over here. I know I haven't been around much, lots going on with kiddos starting back to school, moms surgery, etc etc. I have missed everyone~! What's new in Pcomland?

I think it is intersting the turns this topic has taken. People jumping on defending the fact that they bottle fed their babies Who cares? I started the topic because I found it strange that people were actually offended by a nursing baby doll...its ok to have dolls that drink bottles, dolls that poo and pee, cry, run fevers, grow teeth, talk, walk etc etc, but one that breast feeds is offensive to some. Little girls can learn and play pretend all they want to while 'caring' for their baby dolls....but lets keep those little girls 'innocent' don't teach them about breast fee

Wanted to see if anyone here can give me an answer since the tech support people at my alarm company are idiots We are thinking of switching from bellsouth to comcast for phone....we have a whole house alarm system that calls the company if an alarm is triggered. Will switching from a landline to voip be compatible with my system? If not, how do I make it work? Thanks.

OK...so I seriously have to ask....what is wrong with the American society? Breast feeding is wrong? So wrong that a doll that simulates it is 'perverted?' Really? I need to look up statistics to see what % of American women breast feed as opposed to formula feed.

So what is better... to be teaching our kids to feed their babies with bottles with formula, or to let them play pretend to breast feed? I know my middle bit didn't need a doll special made for this purpose, when she observed me nursing Moo, she 'copied' it with her dolls.
