Nah, it's the end of the month. I saw them Thursday and Friday everywhere with folks pulled over. Doing their usual radar with a chase car. Even the State Patrol was on Bill Carruth. And some folks will come on here and say they don't do that, they don't have quotas, blah blah blah, but they always make up for lost time revenue at the end of the month.

As long as I've been alive we have done TOT on October 31, Halloween. When my kids were growing up, a lot of the churches didn't want to celebrate the Devil's night, so they would do TOT and parties the night before or the Saturday before, so that way they weren't celebrating the Devil. I'm not celebrating the Devil, I'm giving out candy to a bunch of kids dressed up on Halloween. I make cupcakes and food to eat and we have a party. I love Halloween, you get to act goofy and it doesn't matter

I'm glad you fixed your laptop! I load my pictures on my desktop to an external hard drive. If my computer crashes all my pictures are safe on the external hard drive. I got it a few years ago at Best Buy for about $100 but they're probably cheaper now. You could probably load yours pics from the laptop onto the hard drive, but I don't know, I've never tried it. I've done it. You have to use iTunes but to be honest I don't remember what I did because my grandson had to help me. But I have "Blurred Lines" for my ringtone and everybody that hears it will bustamove!

I'm watching, I always do. I watched the playoff last week. I think I'm pulling for Boston. I love baseball. My grandaddy used to play some serious baseball. I've got his first baseman's glove. My son played baseball. My grandaddy would watch one game on TV and listen to another one on the radio. Maybe because Atlanta didn't make it to the playoffs or WS is why there's less interest.

We had frost on our lawn and roof this morning and I heard on the radio there will be a hard freeze tonight. Remember to bring in any plants you want to keep! And keep warm with that fire!

I'm sorry LR. I still miss my mother every day and she's been gone 2 1/2 years. I used to sit and wonder if I would ever get over it, and I decided no, I will never get over losing my mother. I just deal with it a little better and don't cry as much. Have a blessed day and look over your (her) garden and know that she is healed and happy and you will meet again one day.

I'm on the outside looking in. I'm in the minority as well wanting the airport to succeed. It's not going away and we might as well make it profitable. And yes, this county desperately needs jobs and businesses for some tax relief to the homeowners. As far as Todd, after all I've read, I think you're right. He can claim victory either way and never have to answer for it because he was "out if the loop" and I'll add that I think he had help being "out of the loop".

I just roll up newspaper (the one on the driveway that I never read ), make a few rolls, then put some starter wood on top and get that fired up, add a couple of small logs and you're on your way. Rick always brings me plenty of starter (kinlin) because we don't have gas out here. But it's real easy!
