  1. Go to FORUMS, select HONKY TONK and enter the password YUK.......but I think you have to be a paying member. Here's the link http://paulding.com/forum/index.php/forum/132-the-honky-tonk/
  2. Girl, you know it. I saw just about every and any body back in the 70's, caught up with Prince in 1985 and Tina Turner/Lionell Richie in 1999. Everything from rock 'n roll, to hard rock, to R&B. When I saw Michael McDonald open for Al Green it was at Chastain sometime around 2005/6. Not sure. Now you know I worked my way down to the stage and he was throwing out roses. I didn't get one but I sure was up close! The one person I wished I had seen and never had the chance was Marvin Gaye, oh my goodness. Listen to the beginning of this song and you hear five beats.........tha

  4. I just checked in on her, she's looking kinda ragged! LOL Her hair is kinda scruffy. But they have a smorgasboard of food, like the fish laying there. Wish I could post a pic, but photobucket is down and I don't know any other way. She's feeding the baby now
  5. So Obama issues a threat "there will be costs" if Russia intervenes militarily So today Putin issues his orders KIEV, Ukraine (AP) — Russia's parliament approved a motion to use the country's military in Ukraine after a request from President Vladimir Putin as protests in Russian-speaking cities turned violent Saturday, sparking fears of a wide-scale invasion. So what is Obama going to do? and why? Don't get me wrong, I think it's horrible what's going on in the Ukraine, but it's none of our business. . Too bad somebody can't spell "invade" and "Ukraine
  6. That's a good idea, and you're right, it won't be solved on the internet. But how many people would not know what is happening without the internet? At least these days with more technology and open records, people are much more informed than ever before.
  7. I started a topic about it when the bill passed the house. http://paulding.com/forum/index.php/topic/308150-finally-the-bill-passed-the-house/page__p__3888244__hl__%2Bleft+%2Blane__fromsearch__1#entry3888244 I think it's long overdue. Left lane hogs are dangerous.
  8. He's probably ready to replace him anybody right now. You gotta admit it takes a lot of guts to stand up to these guys.
  9. I remember the Palms (we used to call that area Leland) but do you remember Mickey's in Mableton? It was in the "Y" where Gordon pulled off of Bankhead (I think). I go back to the sixties and we loved eating there. Mickey would come out and talk and he even gave my mom the recipe for His Bleu Cheese and Thousdand Island dressing.
  10. Got it. As long as it fits into their guidelines.
  11. Well, this is going to be an interesting voting year. And the shiit hit the fan just in time.
  12. I was reading this in the other topic. They're going to spend my tax dollars however they want and then deny my free speech? If you're not outraged, then you're not paying attention. "This month the authority set a policy that allows public comment but requires residents to apply in advance to speak, and reserves the right to decline if the topic is not deemed pertinent."
  13. So this is it in a nutshell. They're going to take our money and spend it however they want and we don't even get a say in it. This: "This month the authority set a policy that allows public comment but requires residents to apply in advance to speak, and reserves the right to decline if the topic is not deemed pertinent."
  14. Another OMG! I haven't been there in years and years. And people are there every day.
  15. Instead of wasting millions of $dollar$ on lawyers, why not just be up front, have the meeting, and make offers to buy the folks out that want out. And move forward. That's the moral and fair thing to do, but morals and fair have no place in politics. All is good as long as it's not in your back yard, right? Well, it's not in my back yard, but I don't like how it was done. I don't like anything at all about it. I'm just as guilty as the next person not keeping up with my local politics, but what is right is right and there was nothing right about the way this was handled. Now
  16. OMG! Thank you. I used to think the same thing!! LOL
  17. col·lu·sion [kuh-loo-zhuhn] noun 1. a secret agreement, especially for fraudulent or treacherous purposes; conspiracy: 2.Law. a secret understanding between two or more persons to gain something illegally, to defraud another of his or her rights However, like I said, it's hard to prove. Call it what you want, I call it collusion.
  18. I am still for the airport being a success, and I was for the toll road. I want progress and jobs. But it has to be done the right way. The way it was done is called collusion and collusion is illegal. Proving it is hard
  19. Wow. Collusion, seriously. You know, I really wanted this airport thing to work, but not like this. What they have done is wrong on so many levels. Regardless if you were for it or against it, you should open your eyes to what our representatives are doing and have done. Wrong is wrong. If it weren't for concerned citizens like the ones at this meeting and the other meetings, we would have all sit here led by the nose like blind sheep, including myself. I just don't know how people can be so callous and power hungry. At this moment I feel that David is no better th
  20. . No, not him I know Todd, it was the guy that did the power point with all the information and the records
  21. Are you still watching? Who is that gentleman talking now, my wi-fi cut out for a minute.
  22. I'm watching. It took a couple of times to get on
