The schools can't fix what's happening at home and in the world. Drug addition is rampant amongst adults, legal (oxytocin comes to mind) and illegal. Meth and a huge upswing in heroine because it's cheaper than pain pills. I often think of the homes in my own neighborhood and surrounding areas where child abuse and neglect are rampant. It bothers me and hurts my heart. Children, especially babies, need a lot of attention and love. We will soon (if not already) have a society that is cold, callus and calculating. A society that has no consience.

There are a lot of things I thought and could have said, but out of respect for the family and friends that could be on here I wish nothing but condolences for the family. This is our community and that's why.
