The other night I happen to look out and there's 4 sheriff cars lined up down my street in front of my house and at my next door neighbor's house was an ambulance and Fire rescue. How nice to grow up in south Florida. I love that side. We used to stay at Ft Pierce on the way to Miami. I had a cousin there and we would go down one coast and come back up the other coast. This was back in the 60's and it took days. But it was fun.

I know what you mean.........the airport is a b*tch, but for two teenagers it's an expierence. I would drop them off and they can find their way LOL Take everything in one bag for overhead storage and maybe a shoulder bag to keep with them. They won't need that many clothes. Me, I would drive, I love road trips. But I'm an expierenced driver and it scares me to death thinking about them driving that far for that long. We'll see.

My mom always flew Southwest to Vegas. That was years ago when they were in Birmingham but not here in Atlanta. I'm glad they're here. I guess I was thinking they only flew West, but they do fly South LOL

If it were me, I would drive as well, but neither is expierenced on the interstate. I thought about them driving down I-75 and taking the toll roads and get off at Jupiter/Palm beach. I really don't want them on I-95. I avoid 95 at all costs, it's an accident waiting to happen, horrible crashes on I-95 all the time. My grandson's friends mom and grandma is from there and he knows all the places to go. They have a boat and always go out in it. Dang! I want to go. LOL Plus, if they fly they can be there in an hour and 52 minutes.
