I don't like Dr. Sacks. He was my mother's heart doctor in the beginning and he just always seem preoccupied with something else. She had an enlarged abdominal aorta and we had to keep an eye on it. He was useless. I found her another cardiologist and was pleased with him. I wish I had told Dr. Sacks he just needed to quit his practice and go write a book or whatever.

My parents and grandparents were afraid for me because measles does kill. I had them in 1955 before vaccinations and ended up in the hospital. I heard about the "measles parties". I remember back in nineties they used to have "chicken pox parties" so parents could get their kids exposed and over with. BIG difference between measles and chicken pox. I had measles when I was around 5 (way before vaccines) and I was in the hospital, in a very dark room with oxygen, and I was very, very sick. I think I heard on the news that one baby had already died from the measles.

I never shopped Radio Shack. I never understood why they didn't catch up with new technology and why was everything so overpriced?? It should have closed years ago. I've probably been to that Hiram store once and that was 10-15 years ago.
