  1. I remember there were no flights at all the next day, I'm not sure how long that lasted, but I remember it being kinda erie looking up and not seeing or hearing any planes at all.
  2. I remember exactly where I was when this happened. I was working at Bell South at Perimeter and our managers called us into the "war room", which was a huge conference room full of equipment and walls lined with TV's. It was a room for emergencies. The first tower had already been hit and we're standing there with our mouths open, wondering what was going on, and then the 2nd plane hit. Then I knew we were being attacked. I remember when the first tower collapsed and all I could think of was all of the people still in the building. All of the people we had seen jump, all of the p
  3. Is that the one from FB, I can't get it to load. Nevermind. That's it, it finally loaded. Thanks!!
  4. We're getting close to the date and videos are beginning to make their rounds on FaceBook. I saw one that encompassed the tragedy so completely but I don't know how to post it, so I found these. We must never forget. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3jlgZMZRf64 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u5gMEDukiE4
  5. Well, not sure LOL I was searching for a topic, so I clicked something on the left and then when I tried to get recent topics, I couldn't so I had to go back over on the left side and unclick everything so now it's working. Hope that helps It was under Other
  6. When I click on RECENT TOPICS, I get "sorry no new content found" on my laptop and my phone What say ye? Is it just me? It was just me, I messed around with something, it's working now
  7. Yes, most, but not always. My insurance paid for mine because I was over 60. And always keep in mind, if you or someone you're with has it, you must keep it clean and always, always wash your hands before and after treating it. The fluid from the blisters can be transferred to another person. And another thing, it doesn't always occur on the torso. Usually but not always. It can be on the head, in the scalp, down the neck and the side of the face, so you have to be careful not to let it get into the eyes because it can cause permanant damage. Just remember the fluid from shi
  8. I'm still waiting to find out about these "improved fortunes"............................
  9. Their fortunes improved? When? How? Maybe I missed something along the way............................
  10. Yes. My mother had it, a friend of mine in her 70's that's had it 3 times and another friend. I had my Shingles vaccine about 3 years ago. It cost around $250 but my insurance paid for it because I was over 60. If you've had chicken pox, you can just about plan on getting it once you get into your late 60's and 70's. Although it does happen in younger people. It's very painful and last about 6 weeks. From start to end. It's in the herpes zoster family, same as chicken pox and the same as a cold sore and genital herpes. It's a virus. My friend that's working on her third ro
  11. I school choiced my grandson to SPHS, after being so frustrated with PCHS. IMO, PCHS is one of the worst in the county. I've never really heard anything about Hiram High. I couldn't believe the difference once we got to South.
  12. This is a double post from the other day, I've reported it to be removed. So we don't have to go through this again
  13. It's my ringtone. Has been ever since it came out. I don't consider it shades of Michael. It's Bruno Mars all the way!
  14. Look at this, it's like a massive bomb. And only 50 dead?
  15. I saw this on the late news last night and at that time they said only 8 dead. I saw the explosion, and only 8 dead? And now only 50? I suspect there are hundreds dead, but it is China. Like Russia. Deny, deny, deny.
  16. I posted this last week when the report first came out. And the kicker is the taxpayers of Dekalb County had to pay $400,000 for investigators to tell them what they already knew: Their county is rotten to the core. But I don't think it's only Dekalb...................
  17. I was thinking the same thing LOL
  18. Oh, so sad to hear. He was so sweet and so was his mother. My kids went to school with him. Prayers for the family.
  19. She told me she was so glad to see you! They are so glad to be home, she said Daisy just went crazy when Thad walked in and won't leave him alone! Hopefully they both will sleep better than they have in two months.
  20. WoW! Bless your heart, I'm so glad you're home. Now you can get some real rest and so can Melissa. Melissa is one strong, faithful gal and she kept you going!! Hallelujah!
  21. LaParrilla at Cedarcrest. IMO, the one in Powder Springs hasn't been good for a couple of years since they started changing managers. You eat at the one in PS and then go to Cedarcrest you won't believe the difference in the sauce, the chips and the freshness of the food at Cedercrest. I won't eat Mexican anywhere else.
