No it's not. And we do disagree. They got a whipping on their butt, three times. I got whippings. I'm neither violent or submissive. I just learned what I shouldn't do. Beatings are entirely different and cause a lot of psychological damage. I don't think a whipping on the butt hurt anyone, at least not for long.

Thanks, that's what I was thinking. I just think it's wrong teaching a child with ADD/ADHD that they're disabled when they're not. My son and grandson had ADD, but never once did I teach them or infer that they were disabled. Reading and comprehension was just harder for them, and we practiced many hours reading. My grandson did attend Sylvan to get him grade current, and he did. But not once did I ever infer that he was disabled because he's not. He has more difficulity than others reading. But now he reads all the time. And so does my son. . Thank you.

Yes, my children got whippings, after I sent them to their room, after they had time to think about what they did, and I was no longer angry. And it was not physical violence. It was a consequence of something they did terribly wrong. Whippings were a rarity in my household, but sometimes whippings are necessary. I got whippings growing up. Stopped me from doing what I did wrong, and it stopped my children. I can count the times they were whipped. And no, I would be livid if my child were put in handcuffs, but I would also be livid with the child resulting in being handcuffed. AD

I understand that ADHD is a learning disability that can be controlled with or without medication. I also just looked it up, and it does qualify for SS Disability benefits. Even an adult with ADHD can get SS benefits.

I'm thinking it was probably the resource officer at the school TP. Isn't it odd that for several years now we've had to have resource officers (cops, deputies, ect) at our schools now to be available for trouble.

Again, ADHD is now a disability? They are labeled disabled and can do what they want? Can they now get social security with that disability? These folks with ADHD that were never taught self control are the ones you see out in the street and public acting crazy, doing whatever they want, because they got a free pass in school. They're also headed for jail. And I understand it's a learning disability with hyperactivity involved, but they do know what they're doing. They're gaming you when they are out of control. Is ADHD a disability? So, for children with ADHD that are out of control, there's nothing you can do? My grandson and my son both had ADD growing up. I never put them on medication and they both knew they had to behave. So now it's a disability and they can do what they want with no consequences?

The sad thing is they just bought this house earlier this year. I agree it would be better to move but not always possible.

Zmodo is the set we got on Amazon, with Sony cameras. I do remember we got the kind of wiring so you can add sound if you want. And most folks will tell you to get at least a 1TB hard drive And yes, it's very confusing knowing what you want and then to find everything you need in one system Some of the guys will probably get on here tomorrow and give you some real good advice

Actually, I didn't read the reviews. It was just an example. I know when we got ours I asked on here and got a lot of good advice and did my shopping on Amazon. I was just trying to give her an example of what she was looking for. A lot of cameras, a lot of wiring and a hard drive. And I think she'll need at least 8 cameras. Our system has been very good and the night vision is excellent. I'm thinking the cameras were Sony.

This is just an example of a complete system, and it will take your husband a while to install if he's going to do it himself. Ours has a hard drive and we didn't spend this much for our system, I think ours was $200 or $250, ours only had 4 cameras, but this one has 8. I can't remember, I just know it can be confusing. I got a lot of advice on here when I was shopping for some. I got mine at Amazon. I don't remember all the things I was looking for, but I got what we needed. The view at night is very good. And ours are hard wired, not wireless. Very nice cameras. But this was a couple of years ago and I don't remember what we got. You'll want to put several up, at your front and back door and several angles. You can also access them on your cell phone. You should get several suggestions on here.

Like I said last week about the wife, you're living next to a certifiable crazy person. I think her husband is too. I'm really sorry you're having to go through this.

You need security cameras and view them each morning and see if they're coming onto your property at night.. I don't know how you make anything stick or get the deputies to do anything. I'm at a loss on that one, unless you actually go and talk to the Sheriff.

You're probably going to have to call the police when you put the fence up. My bet is, they've had the cops called on them before.

Have you installed security cameras yet? I would do that first. What about a fence? I'm afraid you're in for a long haul and even if you win, do you really win? I would be asking neighbors about them. Gather as much info as you can.
