What is the desired or expected outcome of all the players kneeling during the anthem? Can someone answer that for me? Please tell me what is a possible outcome, not a pie in the sky outcome. Similarly, what is the desired or expected outcome of Trump fanning the flames about this? Logically, why would he do this?

This whole thing is just stupid in my opinion. It's stupid for the players to kneel (although they have every right to do it) and it's stupid for Trump to get involved (and again, he has the right to do it). We used to be able to turn to sports to get away from politics and now that is lost.

It's not a PayPal thing. When you go to checkout for a membership it requires your name and address and then you select to pay via either check or PayPal so this is before going to PayPal to actually pay.

If you have ever paid for a membership here, your name and address are required.

On the topic of the intended link...building the wall will reduce illegal immigration. It won't stop it completely but it will reduce it and that's a good thing. Also, the thread starter references the "conservative Brookings Institution"...well, the author of the linked opinion essay is a fellow at "Open Society Foundations" which is a left wing organization founded by George Soros.

Hmmm....this link goes to a FB post that was shared by someone that is friends with a certain financial advisor. Edit to add: The original link was to a Facebook page, not the Brookings link that is there now.
