:yahoo: Yep, landslide victory for Romney. :yahoo:
-
Indeed. Obama was clearly incorrect about Romney's position. Here's a key part of that article: And I guess we now know that sequestration won't happen because Obama said so. However, after the debate, the Obama people were saying it "shouldn't happen". Can you say backpedal? And while I'm piling on...Obama was also wrong about the residual forces in Iraq with a forces agreement.
-
So does that mean you're voting for Romney now?
-
My take on the debate: Romney acted like the President and Obama acted like the challenger. Not good for Obama in my opinion.

The debate this evening... who do you think won?

Based on the polls coming out since the debate it doesn't appear that Obama did much to help himself. :yahoo: -

Not true either. Do some research on the kind things Romney has done in his life. -

Not true. Please stop posting lies. He wanted them to go through the bankruptcy process that is established for these kinds of situations. -

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news for all the Obama supporters here but your vote for Obama will mean virtually nothing since Romney will win Georgia. :yahoo: -

What do you really think he will do with women's rights? -

Isn't the next debate strictly on foreign policy? I'm sure Libya is going to be a big part of it and hopefully Romney will be a little better in getting his point across. True...it did seem that some of the questions were tilted to help Obama. -

Obama is like a door to door salesman trying to sell you ANOTHER vacuum cleaner to replace the one he sold you 4 years ago that never worked.- 167 replies

Obama did much better than the first debate but I'd call it a draw. I think Obama needed more than a draw to reverse the tide against him. -
If by 'panel of non-educators' you mean parents, then yes. Vouchers are the way to go. Let schools compete for funding.

One word....WOW!

That may be true in hourly jobs but is frequently not the case in salaried jobs.

When I first started posting here more recently (mostly in the politics section), former member was quick to respond with many denigrating comments such as questioning my education, etc. No big deal..I can take it but as a result I now respond to her in kind. I try very hard to not put down others or question other's education or intelligence except for former member. If you can dish it out (which she does to many people) then don't be surprised if you get it right back. Edit to add: I'm guessing this thread didn't turn out quite like LPPT expected.

I still predict a landslide victory for Romney.
-
If she gets paid based on how many times she denigrates others she'll be rich in a couple days and PCOM will be broke.
-
Why not introduce competition into the mix? Obviously the current system isn't working and simply pouring more money into the current system isn't going to make a difference.
