All good questions that I don't have answers to but none seem too problematic considering we're talking about the lives of teachers and children and their basic right to defend themselves.

I'm not a firearms export so I can't answer those questions. Sure, teachers will need to be trained. I'm not suggesting all teachers can just go out and buy a Glock and bring it with them to school the next day. However, it's ludicrous to expect teachers and children to sit there and be shot without any way to defend themselves. No law is going to stop all school shootings and yet you want teachers to be defenseless. Talk about stupid.

I'll ignore all your other comments because they aren't worthy of a response. Your comment above is EXACTLY why select trained teachers should be allowed to have weapons. By your logic, I guess when you have law enforcement officers who aren't willing to confront the shooter or who haven't arrived yet, teachers and students should just sit there and get killed without any option for fighting back (well, except for tiny baseball bats for the town in the original post).
