  1. I'm really tired of white supremacists and a lot of other organizations that thrive on hate.
  2. I thought it was laid out pretty well in John.
  3. Even Jesus knew mankind because of their imperfections would have difficulty loving their enemy. It was one reason why he sacrificed himself on the cross to die for our sins.
  4. I had said Jesus affirmed the Ten Commandments. You responded with, "It would seem more than just the Ten Commandments are affirmed."
  5. I'm trying to get clarification from you on your statement. It gives the impression you believe Jesus affirmed killing.
  6. Unfortunately this is the norm. I know quite a few who work in health care and they complain how patients want to continue texting to their friends during medical exams.
  7. I would like to see legislative changes made that will allow SPLOST to be used to buy books and computers for students in school. Books are not obsolete, they're just not used because of the costs. I've talked to many teachers who have stated it would be great to have enough books so each student would have one to use for studying and doing homework.
  8. Not at all because in his sermon on the Mount he affirmed the Ten Commandments. Read Matthew 5:17-19.
  9. Lots of bees to include bumble bees in my neck of the woods.
  10. You don't remember all the 9/11 conspiracy theories you posted in the past? Hmmmm very strange.
  11. Yes, people can be that shallow and pathetic. You don't have to look far to see that.
  12. I don't see why not as it is the voters who decide.
  13. I remember when COWA would post all kinds of conspiracy theories he believed to be true.
  14. That's my point with TP; nobody here knows how she was raised. The girl's grandparents should have placed the money in a trust that would have paid her tuition, books, room and board, and provided a small expense allowance to ensure there was enough to get her through to graduation. You can teach a kid how to manage money as they grow up, but when they come into a very large sum of money like this girl did, all what you taught them could go out the window because the kid may not be intellectually mature enough to handle it. The bottom line is the responsibility comes down to the girl.
  15. You sound like a middle-school student.
  16. What evidence is there her parents didn't teach her to manage her money?
  17. You're assuming her parents didn't teach her how to handle money. Perhaps they did and she's just one of those who will spend on an urge. Did you raise any kids TP?
  18. They provide two quotes and then say he said he wants to keep his mouth shut on the issue to get the gay's business. Where's the quote from him saying that? There isn't one because that's not what he said. What he said was, "I think that's a political debate that's going to rage on, and the wiser thing for us to do is stay focused on customer service." What your "young turks" are doing is trying to twist his statement into something he did not say. By the way, the article was from March 2014. You can also read what he said in the interview here.
  19. What would help the educational system more attractive to manufacturing would be to actually improve the quality of education students receive other than "beautifying" the buildings and grounds. Let's say you're looking to invest a lot of money in a factory that will provide 200 jobs in the community and you have school aged children. Are you going to want to invest your money and live in a community where the average SAT score is 40 points below the national average? Quality schools help to attract companies that pay well. They view education as important as it helps to create a desirable
  20. There are a lot of areas in the northern states where the klan was big during the 20's and 30's and it had nothing to do with southerners migrating north. Before, during, and after the Civil War there was a very large percentage of the people in northern states that did not want black people in the country. Many of them wanted blacks removed from the country following the Civil War and sent back to Africa. Racism is not just a "southern thing" nor has it ever been.
  21. Why can't they use SPLOST funds to purchase text books and school supplies instead of artificial turf for football fields?
  22. She has an entitlement attitude we see far too often today. The ship is sinking.
