Be Careful What You Say. And, Don't Smoke On Private Property.
Foxmeister replied to Eddie Bennett's topic in RECENT TOPICS
The police officers in his video conducted themselves professionally. Not once did they insult the guy or even raise their voices at him. The female officer was firm and respectful. -
That has a lot to do with it. My wife is a women's health nurse practitioner. She sees a lot of teenage girls who are pregnant between the ages of 14 and 17. She also sees a lot more in that same age group who are sexually active who don't take their prescribed birth control pills saying they "forget."

You are correct. A lot of people seem to think there's absolutely nothing wrong with insulting police officers while they do their job. Laws are to be obeyed. If someone wants to exceed the speed limit while they drive, then they should be prepared to accept the fact if they get pulled over, they could get a ticket. To exceed the speed limit was their choice and their fault, not the police officer who is expected to enforce the laws. Not at all, but I'm sure nothing I say will negate that impression you have. -
How about, "If I'm Lying, I'm Dyeing?"

I remember one Sunday afternoon in April where it was the first warm day of Spring where I could have the windows rolled down on my patrol car. I was on a roadway where the speed limit was 55 mph and coming towards me was a silver Chevy S-10 doing 70 (radar). I made a u-turn and then pulled him over. Nine out of ten times when I pulled someone over for a moving violation, it was with the intent to give them a verbal warning; but I would have the dispatcher run their name through LEIN to make sure they weren't any warrants for them and to make sure their drivers license was valid. When I -

The guy getting the ticket was an asshole. -
Actually that wasn't the point at all. I could care less who any organization hires or what the color of their skin is. What was demonstrated on her part was her lack of integrity passing herself off as black. In other words, she was living a lie and deceiving people.

So you think dishonesty is "cool."

I am curious as to how RM defines "assault weapons." Does she include semi-automatic hand guns as assault weapons?
-
When I use statistics to prove a point, he has an insult about statistics; yet he uses them. Police aren't using tanks. Armored vehicles yes, but tanks no.

What you're saying is if a white person wants to be black, they are black.
-
So if I want to be a black man, I am a black man?
-
Race is a social construct? You're not a particular race by birth, but by what race you want to identify with? Get real.
-
There have been many times you have made statements and were asked to back it up and you refused. So, I'm going to play your game for a change. Do you like it much?
-
It seems like I asked you to do that one time and you told me to do my own research. So now it's back at ya!

It's more than just a private matter with the NAACP. There's the city of Spokane where she stated she was black to get on the police community board. There's all the students she taught who she told she was black. Then there's the black residents in Spokane she lied to about what her race really is.

Look at all the Democrats who are talking strict gun control measures that go beyond "assault weapons." There are even Democrats in congress and elsewhere who are advocates for disarming the public. There are some on this site.

If he's carrying it at the ready instead of slung over his back, then I'll be very alert and watchful.

The answer isn't taking away guns from law abiding citizens as many of the left would like to do.
-
You already know her answer.

You must have had a problem comprehending what I said. I said they should have to return the property if the person is found not guilty. That would also indicate they would have to return the property if they aren't charged with a crime as well.
-
Drug forfeiture laws allow law enforcement to seize money and property. Personally, I would like to see the law changed where the police have to return what they seized if the accused is found not guilty.
-
Zimmerman was tried and found not guilty.
-
That's a different law. I was addressing CC's statement about law enforcement seizing property and money. In the case of back taxes, that's an entirely different process.

The difference between the guy who carried one in the Colorado theater and the guy in the airport is, the guy in Colorado carried his with the intent to commit crimes. The guy in the airport is committing no crimes. Law abiding citizens who carry do not carry them for the purpose of committing criminal acts. How often have you seen one being driven down any street by the police? They are only used in emergency situations. Forfeiture laws are in drug cases and the money is to be used for drug enforcement.
