Did you have an appointment or did you just walk in?. When my son took his he had an appointment and the people that walked in had to wait until the ones that had an appointment were finished.

My son took his road test in the rain, there were some parts of the test he didnt do because of the rain.

Yes the doctors at the ER were surprised I didnt stroke out and was still walking around. I was a walking time bomb and didnt know it. The last time I had it checked was in May and it was fine, and between May and August it jumped that high!! Im just glad I knew something wasnt right and went to the ER. Thank you for your concern and hopefully with some more weight loss I can get off of the medication or at least some of it!!

Thank you, im not going to stop hounding them until they fix this, it's not normal to feel like this. But it seems like I hit 45 and all hell broke loose!!! Up until now I probably visited the doctor once a year, now I've been almost weekly!!

When all of this started it was 250/130, ended up in ER room twice, Urgent Care twice and tons of office visits. In January it started creeping up when I had to change medication because the insurance company wouldnt cover the diovan I had been on for years. Then in August it just went haywire. It's been stable the last few weeks but I don't think it's as low as it could be, but when I ask the cardiologist say it's fine. I called Friday because it was 146/95, but he said that was okay. I have been unable to walk due to the dizziness but have been careful with what I eat.

My GP was having problems with controlling it, she said she put me on the best medicine out there and it wasnt working so she referred me to see a cardiologist, who I have been seeing for the past 4 weeks. When I asked about the side effects, he said I have been on it long enough that it shouldnt be still causing any side effects and plus it was working. Then after the headaches and dizziness continued he referred me to a neurologist, and I do believe the neurologist did mention something to me about seeing a nephrologist. My dosage is .5mg. I have already lost 12 pounds since all of this has started and have been very careful about salt intake, I am praying that soon I will be able to get off of all of this poison.

I am taking Atenolol, losartan and amlodipine besylate for blood pressure and meczline for the dizziness, that's not helping.

Nothing helps the headache, I am seeing neurologist for that. He prescribed me Talwin Lactate, and it does nothing for the headache. I have had a non stop headache for two months now because nothing works.

I do, and I started having problems with my blood pressure about two months ago, and was put on medication and switched several times. I stopped drinking the caffiene about six weeks ago because the physician and cardiologist both said it's not good if you have high blood pressure. My blood pressure has beenstable for the last two weeks and im still having the headaches, dizziness and tiredness. Have had CT Scan and MRI, those were normal, still have to do EEG this week. About 2 weeks after I started having the problems with my blood pressure, I gave up caffieine. My main consumption was coffee, one cup every morning for the past 20 or so years. So after the doctors kept telling me caffiene is not your friend when it comes to hypertension. So I went cold turkey and havent had a sip in six weeks. My husband seems to think my headaches, dizziness and lethargy is from withdrawals. But I said it cant be, because it's been six weeks and I should be over that. Anybody ever went cold turkey from caffeine, and how long did it take you to get over withdrawal symptoms.

I think with the CT scan it was over in like 2 minutes, but the MRI was about 45 minutes, and I had to do with contrast also and I was not expecting all those damn noises, they didnt tell me that part, scared the living hale out of me when it started. I think im going to go ahead and do the EEG next week as planned, just to get it out the way. This way I will know i've done everything I can do to get the root of it. And if they can't find anything, then I will just go on and just accept this is my new reality, headaches and dizziness!!

Thanks for that info!! I wish they would let me know the results from the MRI before I do this EEG. I am spent out and I just dont like the idea of having 3 procdures for my brain within 2 months!!

The person that was administering the MRI asked me several times, have I been checked for a sinus infection, and I said yes. If this is all I have is a sinus infection im gonna be pissed, I have spent so much money trying to figure out why I have been dizzy and having headaches. Would he be able to tell I had a sinus infection?

And why do I need both? Had MRI done today and thought I was going to have a nervous break down, I hate being enclosed and have to lay still. But suppose to do the EEG next week, and im wondering why do I need both? Anyone had these? Had ct scan done couple of months ago and it came back negative, but headaches and dizziness is getting worse, so he scheduled me for MRI and EEG.
