My husband just started as an insurance agent for a VERY prominent company. He gets leads from the home office of people who sent in a mailing postcard or requested info. He takes the copies of the postcards folks have filled out so he doesn't look crazy and verifies, but he still feels ashamed to do it. As soon as it is declined at the door he says thank you and sorry for bothering and goes on his way. His dad works for the same company in Indiana and they do NO cold calling, but it is part of rookie training here in GA. He apologizes in advance if he at one time shows up on your doorste
