Finally home, best day EVER at the bakery! Thank you all so much for letting us make your Thanksgiving desserts! Even Pete's "beautiful" cake sold! lol. So many people told us how you could see the freshness and the taste how "made from scratch" our pies are. We love baking for our customers and talking to each and every one of you! This may be weird considering I own a bakery, but, i despise eggs. if you can see them, smell them or taste them i won't eat it. I haven't had an egg since I was a very small child. Just the thought of it makes me cringe. lol. But, peanut butter is fine with me. lol

Pete has worked his culinary magic again!!! He made Cornish pasties and O-M-G are they good!!! Like a really good beef stew with beef, carrots, potatoes and onions wrapped in flaky pastry and baked to golden perfection. Only $3.95 each.

Caleb is firing up the oven and the smell is amazing!!! Cinnamon rolls with cream cheese icing or caramel and chopped- toasted pecans, peanut butter bars and Caleb's Cola Cake are some of the first things being made today. Along with a variety of cupcakes and cookies! We will be here until 7pm!

They are firm, although we can make the fluffy kind. And since we make them from scratch, we can use the buttermilk recipe if you like.
