BTW, a persons trash tells a story about them. I grew up on a street like that in Marietta close to the Square. I remember my Mother fussing about the trash ppl threw into the yard as they flew thru our neighborhood trying to avoid rush hour traffic. People can be so rude. I hate it. :clapping:

Im sure lots of people "sounded insane" upon every dictator who has taken power. Im not afraid of sounding crazy to people who do not see the imminent danger this country is facing by electing liberal facists into office. I like the theatres who sell bottled Coke products. They dont know the difference when I smuggle mine in!

and I can choose not to give them my business. Youre right, it IS a private business right to enforce whatever rules they seem fit but it is my right to vote against them by going to a competitor.

Individual liberty is dying a slow death in this supposed "free" country. Tragedies like this make people forget about their own individual liberty and trade it for a false sense of big government security. Thoughts?

But the point is that if more people did carry a concealed weapon, nutjobs like this guy would be less inclined to go on a shooting spree not knowing how many people he might have to come up against. Its not so much about who could shoot him in the theatre, its a mindset and a culture.

He knew that the chance of anyone having a weapon there was slim to none. In most states, you cannot carry even with a permit in any area with "mass crowds of people", like a theatre. What law abiding citizen is going to risk a felony and jail time to take a weapon where it isnt allowed to by law? What does the shooter care though if he carries one there? HE DOESNT.

Really?! I love it here. Valdosta has everything I need(pretty much)but minus the horrible traffic. I love the community feel and involvement here, too. Its a great place to live and beaches are less that 45 mins away. BTW, I may know the people that run that park. They are friends of mine from Cobb Co who moved here last year.

He did for years until recently. He has officially retired FINALLY. He did love his time there. It was a fun job.

Another reason why more people should carry concealed weapons and they should be allowed in places like this. The shooter knew this was a place where the chance of someone else having a firearm would be minimal.

she used to come to the salon I worked in. Her stylist was the wife of a Cobb cop. They immediately thought the same thing. I will never forget that.
