some tornados spawned a path 6 miles wide, I do not know about the rest of you but I think I finally turned off the t.v. about 3:30 a.m. It was the worst I have ever seen in my life. It is a somber day for alot of people that lost loved ones. When they arise this morning to see the distruction they will be in shock all over again. I will be in prayer them. I am very thankful to be sitting here this morning with no damage,family all across Georgia /Alabama is good and alive.

I have lived here all my life in Georgia and I have never seen storms like this,I pray that these families that were impacted by these storms can try to recover as quickly as possible. My heart hurts for them all.

Hi, I took my 3,4,5,and 7 year old granchildren, we were told that it went bad with the younger group(2 and under), the P&R person announced again when it was the certain age groups turn, please age appropriate children only, no parents, no older siblings.I personally thought that the Parks and rec. did a awesome job with getting us in the park and out. I also prepared my grankids with Polka Dot balloons tied to thier basket so I could keep an eye on each one of them. The 3 and 4 year olds did good too about the eggs they found. o.k. we have this problem on the farm in Middle GA., and here I have had problems in my garden with moles, so find thier holes and go to tractor supply and get the smoke bombs designed for rodents, have some dirt ready and after you light it, cover all holes with dirt(to keep the smoke in and the rodent). I did this to the moles and problem solved. On the farm we had a husky, he would go in the hole and pull em out, yes, the hole was big enough for a husky. Try the smoke bombs and throw them in every hole.Hope this helps ya.

I second that, for going to Doug's if you want Annuals (does not come back every year) his baskets are huge.I like to buy perennial's(come back every year). I have Deep Purple Clematis for sale .I have about 6 left. 4 dollars each. I will have strawberry plants in a few weeks, they are bearing huge strawberries right now. Come July, I will have Bearded Iris'. If anyone is interested.

I just came from Nebo and if your child attends school there you really need to stop in and check out the lost and found. There was a plastic cart (huge) full of sweatshirts, jackets, pants and hoodies. these items will be donated I believe on the 19 of April so if your child is missing anything , you might want to go look.
