I will be doing American Home School for my son this year. They are a virtual school and fully accredited. All colleges recognize them. What I liked best with this one is that he will go at his own pace and it is accessible 24/7. They also report to the local school board for attendance. I will also have this information available to the Drivers License Bureau to meet with their attendance rules. The cost is $125 monthly.

I understand your thought. However with the virtual schools that are already in place there are teachers on via the camera. They also know how long the student is logged in and working.

For a year now I have had a feeling about where our public school system is going. The topic on here about the free computers and internet has me believing I am right. I feel that it will not be long until all students are given a laptop and free internet and we will have virtual school in place of the public school system. With the economy going the way that it is and the fact that virtual school is becoming more prevelant I do not think I am far off on this. Now, tell me what you think and keep it nice.

Too funny. That is the same daycare that wants a certain adult establishment run out of town in order to protect the kids that attend there.

I cannot pay my bills right now.....BUT my cable and internet are both included in my rent. And with wi-fi in so many places everyone has access to free internet.

We lived in Smyrna when we were teenagers. My brother kept having systems stolen by what we knew was the same group of people. Finally after 5 0r 6 systems being stolen he put fish hooks behind the new system mixed with the wiring. Never had another system stolen.

I beg to differ. I have been working from home since January in customer service. My friend works for the largest insurance company in the world and has been working from home for 10 years. Another friend sells ads for a newspaper and has worked from home for 7 years. YES, it is being done.
