I am beyond ticked. They are dropping the charges. The girl assaulted a staff member AND defaced school (government property) by drawing on the walls. We have multiple threads on here how defacing school property is a FELONY. WHY is this kid having charges dropped????????

Very sad. When adults have no control over children and the law has to step in then something is out of whack. A small hi-jack here too, a month or so ago right here in our county a bus driver was attacked by a special needs child. I have been told that no punishment was rendered to the student due to him being special needs. Evidently this is standard practice. Does anybody know if that is true?

Not only with this election but also with the Presedential election coming up, I am excercising my right to vote. Sadly, my ballot will not be cast in Favor of one candidate but rather in Opposistion of one. There is nobody worth voting for here, only those worth voting against.

I was billed $2400 for an ear infection and saw the Dr. for less than 2 minutes. My dad was billed for a pregnancy test...true. Put your seat belt on, the health care charges are only going to get worse.

Could it be the dump trucks at the hospital construction site? I only ask because when PCHS was having work done I called the Police because I kept hearing shots. When they came out it was discovered that when the bed of the truck dumped the dirt that it sounded just like a shot.

That would be a great resolution. Punishment is indeed deserved and should be executed BUT not to the extent of ruining their future.

Is the article correct in stating that Zimmerman is the ONLY one who can not walk at graduation??? IF that is true, his parents better fight to the end for this. THAT ticks me off and I don't even know the kid.

I am telling you that the solution here is so simple. Drop the felony charges. Give each of the 24 kids a $3000 fine that the parents can dish out. Give the kids 60 hours of community service cutting grass and picking up trash. The budget will be helped, the county will be clean and the kids futures will be in tact.

Running a stop sign is also wrong and illegal. But I would much rather pay a Fine than ruin my life over committing this crime. I agree with you Lucky that the punishment should fit the crime. Make the kid work his butt off to pay back the county but let him keep his future in tact.
