How is it he is going to extend these rights? I am not familiar with the bill Purdue vetoed. Dont misunderstand, I am all in favor of making firearm ownership easier for law abiding citizens and I think its good that GA is as easygoing as it is (When I bought my 9mm, i was in and out with my weapon in under an hour, and my carry-permit was simple enough to get) THough technically states like Oklahoma and Montana make gun ownership easier according to some article I read, GA is still considered 2nd amendment friendly.

Windy Hill Rd. Liquor store Robbery go awry as clerk kills one of them. This is why I am such a staunch beleiver in our 2nd amendement rights and feel better when more people have guns around. To kill idiots like this moron who thinks robbing liquor stores is a good idea. Dont get me wrong, it think its sad the guy died; I was hoping for more of a lifelong debilitating injury, but at least its one more jerk out of the pool.

I've got a Question about Employment Laws

And? Business exist to make money. If thats a problem for you there are other places to live that dont neccesarily adhere to capitalism. New York and California come to mind. -
I've got a Question about Employment Laws
CaptainObvious replied to tuscanytrailer's topic in RECENT TOPICS
The job any person does in the state of georgia belongs to the employer, not the employee. Even if you are scheduled for 10 hours and they work you one hour then send you home, they are within their right. If this is a problem for the employee, they are welcome to find work elsewhere. -
Global Warming Scientists Rethink How to Frame Their Argument

Why would you hope she gets in trouble? This person is unhappy for whatever reason with the state of operations of the Army. Lord knows I can appreciate that as I felt the exact same way when I was in the service. She probably joined for the same reasons most people do; either as a civil service, tradition, career, job experience, college, or other financial incentives. It really doesnt matter why she joined. If you mean to tell me that you were excited about joining an organization only to find once you were inside for some time discovered it wasnt all it was cracked up to be, or that things

Illinois Makes 6th State to Approve Civil Unions for Gays
CaptainObvious replied to zoocrew's topic in RECENT TOPICS
No it was not, however the events taking place there have been misinterpreted due to the unfortunacy that is a concept called 'lost in translation.' the original hebrew and greek texts were actually reffering to forcible rape rather than homosexuality. This is why there are countless version of both the old and new testaments. The only time the occurance of sodom and gamorrah is address in the new testament is in the epistles and NOT in the gospels. The only rules which spoke againt it were in the OT and since the laws of the OT were fulfilled upon Jesus arrival those rules were no longer vali -

The economy is improving.... I liken this to saying the foul odor in the refrigerator is only slightly less odoriferous than it was yesterday. It still smells like s*** and its going to smell like s*** for a while longer.

Illinois Makes 6th State to Approve Civil Unions for Gays
CaptainObvious replied to zoocrew's topic in RECENT TOPICS
I disagree. I think only those with significant homosexual populations should do this while others do not, this way we can set a precedent for how states that allow this do and thus establish irrefutable proof that its a good idea which would THEN make the other states mimic those laws. this is why its a great idea to let us states c ompete with each other and have this kind of thing regulated at the state level rather than the federal level. -
I got that rate on a special, they were afraid i would leave them so they let me keep it, then i paid my bills on time every time for three years so they reduced it. Ive never needed their customer service excep[t when i moved to a place where there wasnt a pre-existing cable run to the house. they came out and installed it easily, properly, and on time. And comcasts connectivity speeds are blazing. youtubes loaded as soon as i click on a video, torrents of several gigs download in under an hour. my games never lag. I have ZERO complaints about comcast.

yes tell us exactly what happens when you press the power button. if nothinfg at all, then my guess is it needs a new power supply if its a desktop.

Basic Cable with on demand and internet and phone: 70$ Ive been with comcast for 4 years and my rates have only gone down from day one. I have zero complaints. I dont know why all you people have these multi hundred dollar bills per month but I dont see it myself and so I cant blame comcast. Ive loved my service with them. And no I dont work for them, i dont know anyone who does work for them. I call good business when I see good business.

The first law of metaphysics: "Nothing unreal exists" If this is true then I have a few questions that maybe you people have your own thoughts about: Does this mean that everything real exists? or is it possible for something to be real and not exist? for example: Do triangles exist? You know what one is. You know what defines a geometric triangle: three line segments with each end sharing an end point with another line segment. You have seen things in shape of triangles. Triangles are REAL. There isn;t any doubt in anyones mind about that, but just because it is real, does this mean th

18 USCA 793 defines espionage: he practice of secretly gathering information about a foreign government or a competing industry, with the purpose of placing one's own government or corporation at some strategic or financial advantage. The act performed by this young private does not qualify as espionag Ergo wikileaks was free to publish it. There is no such law as theft by receiving of information unless that information gathered was an act of spying which this was not. And since, as you pointed out, wikileaks is not a US governed entity neither can be prosecuted under our law. -
I was shopping around to sere how much a simple front-end brake service would cost me. Generally most of them were similar and what I would describe as fairly priced, one was outrageous, and one was the cheapest of all...and coincidentally a Pcom commerce member (go figure!) Some havent returned my call for an inquiry and I will post those prices if they ever get back to me but I wont list them until they do. So if you need your front brakes done, here are the companies and their prices as quoted to me. I will go Highest to lowest here. Express Oil & Service: $300 Big 10 Tires: $151

Wikileaks is protected under the first amendment. Let me make this clear; some punk 22 year old who thinks he knows how to run things in this country better should run for public office to change things and not take it upon himself to reveal classified information to public outlets just as those public outlets should consider (ethically) the ramifications for revealing said information. What that kid did IS criminal and he will pay the price for it (as I suspect so shall the rest of us in some fashion) however what Wikileaks has done is NOT criminal, though beat it unethical, and should only s -
