Great, thanks. I think I may make a run up there today. -

I am so glad that you two were able to reach an agreement on the name and it is a very nice name. I like the spelling you decided on for her middle name, too. Congratulations ... now she just needs to get here.

Paper and plastic grocery bags could soon cost you

I love when they are running short on baggers at the store and I can bag my own groceries. -

It is beyond my comprehension why it is so hard for stores to spend a few minutes teaching their employees how to bag groceries. I make a point of putting my groceries on the conveyor so that they are grouped very closely to how they should be bagged and they still manage to screw it up. -

I did try some frozen steaks from Brown's and was not too impressed. Glad to hear such good reviews on the chicken. -
We LOVE Paulding Kids University. Not sure what, if any, openings they have at this point. (New Georgia area ... not sure if that works for you.)

There's a grocery chain in the DC area that has been doing this for decades. Not really a big deal except that you have to get pretty good at guessing how many bags you need. -

I'll have to try those, too. I really like the ones from the mix. Just add buttermilk, put a little melted butter on the top of them for the last couple minutes. Good stuff. -

Business 6 right near 120. They are a food service provider but are open to the public. I've tried their biscuit mix and got a great deal there on a large bottle of peppermint flavoring. I can't believe nobody has ried their chicken yet. I usually buy all of my meats from Ingles or Publix, sometimes Kroger ... I go in the mornings to buy the clearance deals. Always do really well there. Just thought it would be nice to have a good, cheap source for good chicken. Great! Thank you. -

Browns has boneless skinless chicken for $1.50/lb most of the time. I rarely have good luck at WM but this thread isn't meant to say anything bad about them ... just looking for folks to add input on Browns. -
Browns Food Service? What do you think?

Go to the school district web page and pull up the calendar and physically count the weeks. -

Where do we go from 36 to 38? And in your figuring, you miss the 4 4-day weeks already in the calendar. I get your point ... I'm just saying. -

I honestly don't recall ... I believe it is either $125 or $135. -
I've never accepted the "i don't have kids" or the "my kids are out of school" arguments anyway. Society as a whole benefits from the education of our youth. Just because a person does not directly use a tax funded program doesn't necessarily mean they don't benefit from it. I certainly would rather see answers that do not add that extra burden on families of what to do with little johnnie for that extra day. (talking about the 4 day week plan) I don't know the answer but it does seem to me that the situation isn't being addressed in the right order. We know that we need to se

The one we use is $50. -
I did not have the opportunity to find out enough about the candidates to make an educated decision. I find it for more irresponsible to vote "just because" than to not vote.

It works in some places, it doesn't work in others. There don't seem to be any real answer to explain that. I see no reason not to see if it works here. As the old saying goes ... the definition of insanity is perform the same action over and over and expecting a different result. Other than giving the anti year round folks a chance to say "we told you so", there's no harm in trying it.

Many of them have 1 day options. -
Let me ask this ... if the schools aren't testing where we'd like them to and if there are studies all over the place that show retention is better with a "year round" schedule ... where is the harm in trying it? Other than the emotional connections we have to summer vacations, where is there any actual harm to the education of our kids if we try it? Honestly, if you think about it, it makes perfect sense. What other training is done anywhere in any discipline where a 3 month break is considered a good thing? Want to compare the brain to a muscle? What sport/athletic pursuit includes a 3 m
