The majority of folks who frequent the very informative political forum are civil and polite, there are really only a couple of bad apples who engage in name calling and personal attacks. Last time I checked, the right of citizens to form groups and petition the government for redress of grievances is a foundational principle of our republic and protected by the first amendment...

My TAXES will INCREASE from 6.65 mils to 7.60 mils tomorrow...

Keyword = INCREASE. Sugarcoat it all you want, but the simple fact is that I will pay MORE TAXES under the proposed 7.60 mils than I would pay under the current 6.65 mils !!!

Current millage rate = 6.65 Proposed millage rate = 7.60 ^^^ THIS IS A TAX INCREASE.
