Agreed!!! The judge even said that at some point in the 10 days before Aimee was caught she wanted to go to police but her mother talked her out of it.

It may not be perfect but it is the only justice system we have. Yes she was stupid but the prisons are full of stupid people. She commited a series of calculated choices which happen to be CRIMINAL!!!!!!!! She is where she deserves to be. AND might I add a better place than in the cemetary which is where most of the other people involved ended up.

Punishment fits the crime in my opinion. Sorry that may not be the popular answer but she tried to get away with it instead of facing her actions.

She is showing remorse for HERSELF not for the people she killed!!!!!! She didn't just have a LAPSE IN JUDGEMENT. She spent 10 days planning her cover up.

This is proof of her selfishness and cockiness about getting away with her crime. She deserves more than 3-5 years. Let's add up the ages of the 3 CHILDREN that she killed and sentence her to that. She left the scene. She could have turned herself in that day. NOT 10 days and multiple news stories later.

She was rushing around trying to get a cake for a party. When she saw she caused this horrific crash she freaked out. OK I get that. We all freak out when we have close calls or accidents. She didn't know that she killed anyone until it was on the news. That is when I think she went into self preservation mode. It had nothing to do with the initial freak out about the crash. SHe was trying to get away with a crime!!!! She didn't tell ANYONE for 2 days and then told her mother. Then waited another 8 days before meeting with police. Had they not been putting the media pressure on I doubt

Guess I'll REALLY be breaking out the old axe. I've got a few fell trees in the backyard that can now meet their maker!!!!!! Sure it's not as good as the professionals might do but HEY can't beat the price!!!!!

I had to leave without voting. First time I didn't vote since being eligible in 1997!!!!! With school being out I had my 7 yr old with me and could not make him wait that long. AND I did all the research and everything!!!!! So nice to hear that someone was looking out for everyone.

HA glad I'm not on an island by myself with this one. My hubby keeps a HAIRDRYER by the bed incase he gets a chill . Right now using the fireplace & one REALLY good heater. I refuse to turn the heat on just yet.

I agree. If you are not informed do not vote for that candidate or ammendment. LEAVE IT BLANK!!!! You could be voting totally against your beliefs. Think this just might solve my dilemma. I put off voting this morning because I am so torn between the two worst choices we could have set ourselves up for.

Also nice to know that he will be joining us up in PC. He is moving into a retirement community in Hiram. I hope I see this man again. I shoud have gotten his info but didn't think of it at the time.

My 7 yr old son is with me today at work due to school being closed for election day. I took him over to Brandi's Famous Hot Dogs by Kennestone. Of course the place was CROWDED. This older gentleman invited us to share his table and we had a great conversation. At the end of the meal he offered to pay and I tried to refuse but he wouldn't allow it. What a great guy and a great example for my son!!!!!

Well i didn't vote this morning so I am taking the rest of my day to educate myself on the ammendments and then casting my ballot on the way home. This really concerns me. I think my main concern will be education followed by the economy. Hubby was out of work for 19 months!!!! Is it selfish to wish for a run-off since his company is printing a majority of the Republican ads and that would mean much needed overtime hours?

Ok lots to think about. Going to try to find the last debate. Even though I wasn't too impressed with the other. They both act like 13 yr old boys going back and forth!!!!!!! I am hoping for a moment of clarity once I hit the booth.

She killed an entire family.....Mom, Dad. elementary age daughter, & newborn son in one car and another elementary aged girl in another car as well as critically injuring her mom.
