Any recommendations for wireless printer
workingforaliving replied to Squareroots's topic in Business NEWS
I walk my laptop over to the printer (that I keep on a shelf set up) and plug in the USB so that it can print my stuff. I'm sure there's an easier way, but this way keeps me from printing a lot of crap. -
My 3 year old and I would gladly help you out

Gun Hidden In Stove Goes Off, Injures Man

This man keeps his in his stove.....well....until he turned the stove on and his friend got shot. Man shot after loaded gun in stove explodes -
I think so. I think they do it late every year so they don't compete with the Hiram crowd?

I thought I heard that somewhere is even doing it next week? I suspect they're trying to be considerate of those that have to work on Monday. The turn out would be much less considering fireworks don't start until dark and it doesn't get dark until around 9.

How much do you tip your pizza delivery person?
workingforaliving replied to Baileybleu's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Why charge the fee if the drivers don't get it? That's rediculous. Are their costs higher for pizza delivery than pick up? -
You only need the http:/................jpg part of it....not all that extra junk. enclose it in [ i m g ] http..... [ / i m g] (without all the spaces)

If someone gave you $, what would you do w/ it?

I've argued the debt v. savings thing before.... Debt ends up costing you more than savings saves you. Right now, the interest rates for a savings account are very low...but the interest rates on debt are high. It may actually COST you money to save it. And IF hubby loses his job, that's what credit is for....don't close the accounts---just let them be until the time comes that you'll need them. No debt means that you'll qualify for the lower interest rates, if it ever comes to that. -
It's heartbreaking, as a teacher, to see the names of former students on here (or elsewhere) that have died in accidents. My oldest group of former students are 19ish. that's where I got my wires crossed. I thought Cole Lake Rd AND Garmon Rd both had fatal accidents.

Yeah, they've started tagging on a delivery fee. I usually order the pizza when I leave work and pick it up on my way home. -

It depends on how far the person had to drive. I live kind of far out, so I tip a little more than someone who may live close by. If it doesn't cover their gas costs (which they pay for themselves) then it's not worth it for them to drive a pizza to me. -
Were there 2 teen fatalities yesterday?

I think it's because they already have Sunday off. Many businesses don't close on the federal gooberment holidays, but practically all of them close on the 4th....but if you're already off, you kind of get robbed. That's the only reason I can think of. Also, make sure you buy your beer today....cause you can't get it tomorrow

I add people like that, check out their profiles, then delete them if they aren't someone I want as a friend. I like to flirt with danger like that

What no thread about the DA's race?
workingforaliving replied to Cathyhelms's topic in Paulding County NEWS
Interesting observation. He was recommended to me by a male who still insists that he's an awesome attorney, so add that to your tally sheet. I understand that over a career you aren't going to make EVERYONE happy, but how many people are going to have to speak up before it quits being a fluke? -

A tub of coolwhip is a dollar vs. the cost of a thing of cream and then adding sweetener? And I can get frosting for less than a dollar with a coupon I'm sure in the long run or in large quantities it's more cost efficient....but then consider the TIME it takes to make it...and time is money.

How far is the walk from the parking lot to the waterfall? I don't want to end up carrying anybody....and I'm kinda lazy.
-
There's also a cost issue. It's cheaper to buy cool whip.
