Does anyone use the consignment store in Douglasville, behind McD's?

Seems like the government is just trying to make it harder and harder on folks who are trying to make ends meet. Just like the other post here reporting the Marshall's office picking up yard sale signs. People are trying to make the most of what little they have nowadays, yet those in local government seem to have their heads in the clouds and could care less. -
No harm dreaming

I'll throw my .02¢ in... I have had my netbook for almost 2 years (Asus) and have nothing but good to say about it. Like you, I only use it for surfing the web, though. It's small enough that I can tote it around anywhere. Just remember, there's generally not a CD drive, so you wont be able to install certain things on it. (like perhaps a printer that might require installation with a CD?) I've used larger laptops, and find their size annoying. I always feel so much more comfortable using my netbook. I think the screen on mine is 10.5, and the keyboard is about 93% of a regular keyboard

Well said. You have to understand that she has a disease, and take that into consideration instead of "judging" her. Anytime I see her in a store, I *always* speak to her and give her a big hug.. and get the same kindness in return. One day recently I was in a parking lot in Hiram, and she shook her switch at me! lol I promptly rolled down my window and asked her if she was behaving. I got that great laugh of hers, as she replied, "No, I'm ill today!" Her shaking her switch at me didnt make me care for her any less.. I understand she has a problem, and will continue to show her love a

The Hiram Coffee House has a quaint little outdoor seating area in the back. A friend and I had lunch there not too long ago and ate out there. Nice setting & good food.. of course!

That was the age on some paperwork I filled out for the school. I had always thought it was 10. Cant remember what the paper was for.. perhaps something to do with the bus dropping them off. I just remember being surprised when I read age 9. I have left my 10 year old at home for a couple of hours. But he's very responsible and has self control. My 9 year old, however, will probably be 18 before I'll leave her alone! She would probably do something like.. decide to bake a cake.. and burn the house down.

Another boom like last night about this time

That would make sense. The part of Mill Pointe I live in, backs up to Lake Swan. After I heard last night's "explosion" I took the dog out and heard a few firecrackers. -
Thanks for the morning laugh!!!!

I posted this on my FB page a few weeks ago... glad to see it posted here! This is the daughter of a friend of mine, and I have faith that one day they will be reunited. The more this travels around the internet, the better the chances! You just never know who may see this and have information. -
We're in Mill Pointe and heard it, too. Skeerd me!!

Yep, I hugged an old friend in Walmart yesterday and shocked them! Time for the staticky (I know.. that's prolly not a real word) hair, too.. But I'll take dry air over humidity ANY day!!

What a wimpy society we live in! Some people think they're above the law.. others think they ARE the law! hahaha

Really? This is absurd.. do these kids not play outside, and have to ::gasp:: cross the street to go to a friend's house?? Wow.. I must be a bad parent because our subdivision is full of kids.. and my kids are out playing all over the place! lol We dont have sidewalks either, and my elementary kids get picked up at 6:45am at the top of our street. No big deal... and when it's raining, I simply drive them to the bus stop. The mentality of some people really amazes me.

Awww... Perhaps it is meant for him to play it! My daughter started band in 6th grade, and is still playing now in her 2nd year of high school. We rented from Ken Stanton in the beginning as well.. until we could find a good deal.. and to be sure she was going to stick to it. Encourage him to stick with it... high school marching band is so much fun.
