  2. For anyone willing to relocate, check out this link for companies now hiring.http://www.hannity.com/pages/get-america-back-to-work
  3. Thank you to all that responded. Im in the beginning steps of setting up a non-profit and want to do it right, which means finding the best person for the job because I'm looking to partner with someone long term, not just a fly by night kinda person. Merry Christmas to all!
  4. Looking for information....trying to decide if I need a lawyer or a CPA. Thanks!
  5. A friend posted this link on facebook. Just wondering if anyone has heard about the November 10th fundraiser and if they can share details.... http://www.ajc.com/news/news/paulding-abuse-case-teens-biological-father-speaks/nSnLH/ The Atlanta Journal-Constitution When he arrived home from work one day 15 years ago, Tony Wawrzynski’s life was changed forever. The Arizona home he shared with his girlfriend and 3-year-old son was empty. A baby bed and toys were left behind, but there was no energetic toddler grabbing at his leg. “She’ll come back. She always does,” Wawrzynski,
  6. I just purchased an Asus 15.6" i5 laptop at Best Buy on sale for $549.99. 65GB Ram, 750GB Hard Drive. Walmart has it for $500. Best Buy price matched Walmart's price so I got a credit and mine ended up costing me $500 plus tax. Walmart also has a nice HP close to the same configuration as mine for $500.00. Love my Asus but the mouse is a very temperamental and I found it frustrating bc I kept losing my data and it would move the cursor around wildly. After researching the problem it seems to be fairly common so a lot of people changed their mouse setting. Me I use a wireless keyboard
  7. Oh yes I hated the drive to Buckhead! We moved to Paulding in August 1999 and I quit my job in November 2001 after the drive turned into a 2 hr commute bc everyone was moving to Paulding. We moved here because we liked Paulding. Paulding has grown and changed a lot since then. There's more shopping and restaurants in Hiram. There's more traffic. I would love to work in the county I live .... there's nothing wrong with that!!
  8. Im not sure if this is what you're looking for but to me bringing big business to Paulding would create more jobs at high salaries than offered by retail and the food industry. One of my biggest gripes about living in Paulding is having to leave the county and drive into Buckhead to work. If you bring big businesses that hire employees at higher salaries that means more jobs here for locals, which means we're working in Paulding, eating lunch in Paulding, shopping in Paulding, and buying our gas in Paulding, during our lunch hours vs spending all that money in another county. It also it cos
  9. It was so hard reading this thread....I felt so many emotions....,from anger, to sadness, and a lot more....children are so innocent and to see this child ... overweight and acting out in such a very unbecoming way for a child her age....where is her innocence?....its gone....,she's been corrupted and misguided by adults that are called her parents and the media that puts her in the spotlight and the people that are watching the show...obesity in adolescents is an epidemic today...80% of overweight adolescents will become obese adults....research has shown heart disease such as high blood pres

  17. Visitation and child support are two different issues in the eyes of the court. I am a firm believer that both parents are responsible for the support of their children, whether they are the custodial parent or not. I also believe it is the right of the children to have support and access to both parents. For one parent to use their children to get back at the other parent is just wrong bc in th end it hurts the children. Only unless a parent or family situtation is harmful to the child, do I advocate non-visitation rights.
  18. I hate when parents do this! Its a vindictive, selfish and angry action. If they only realized they were hurting their children (the grandchildren) too...good luck to you

  20. One of my daughter uses Dr. Zane Pollard located near Children's Healthcare around the Northside Hospital Area http://www.eyeconsultants.net/site/zane-f-pollard-m-d.htm The other uses Dr. Bordenca at Marietta Eye Clinic near Kennestone Hospital. If you look at Dr. Pollards link above, look to the right and click on Dr. Bordence's name to see his info. Both are good doctors.

  24. The Georgia Miss Amazing Pageant is not only a pageant for girls with disabilities, although that is our primary focus. The founder of the pageant also wanted to the pageant to be an avenue to give back to the community so as part of our agreement, we conduct a food drive along with the pageant. We are in the beginning stages of putting the pageant together and we are looking for an organization, church or shelter that might be a candidate for our donation. I know of a few but wanted to check here to see if there were others that one might need our help the most. Thanks!
