Library Buddies! A Library Buddy is someone (adult or child) that donates a book to the library.. either a book for parents to read about different disabilities.... or a book written for children to read about a specific disability! Children's books promote acceptance of differences in children. There are a lot of great books on the market and very reasonably priced on e-bay or amazon.com. This would be a great community service project for your child and he/she would have his/her name placed on a donation sticker in front of the book. Another possibility would be used toys that would have

LOL.. I heard one little girl fussing at her family for leaving her down the aisle while she was putting groceries in her cart! lol The little carts didn't bother me... but why did they have to put poles in the middle of the aisles and all those other displays all in the aisles????? I did hear people complaining about those....

You are invited to attend a FREE workshop on September 24th, 6:30-8:30 PM! This workshop will discuss Medicaid and two waivers as they pertain to special needs children! The workshop will take place at the office of Taylor's P.A.L.S., located at 535 Hardee Street, Dallas, 30132. We are located across the street from Dallas Elementary, behind Dollar Pharmacy. I've heard great things about Shelter Cove (or could be Sheltered Cove) in Dallas.. the man that works there. I can give you more details tomorrow if you will call me at 770-861-5704. I have a database of providers in Paulding and I know they are on it. Please tell them NOT to wait and NOT to take anything for granted. Unfortunately, I learned that the hard way when my son committed suicide.
