I just want to be set in a boat, doused with gasoline, and lit on fire. Just make sure I'm really dead and not faking it.

Good free agent signing. The secondary was pitiful but the lack of pressure by the d-line was pretty bad too.

I don't know how often the DOL ask for the register of how many jobs applied or interviewed for. With the number of people unemployed, and the evident stress that the DOL is under, it wouldn't surprise me at all to find out that they aren't actively verifying that people are looking for jobs beyond their electronic "yes, I was looking for a job" inquiry.

Hmm, that's an interesting quandary. On one hand, IF he paid into the UI pot and then lost his job, he can qualify for unemployment payments. His family may also need that assistance. On the other hand, he isn't exactly able to look for employment while locked up, which could violate one of the conditions of unemployment insurance. He got himself into this mess, and perhaps cutting off UI benefits could be a part of the punishment, but is that punishment doing to do serious damage to his family in the meantime? Tough call.

I tried this a few months ago. No dice. MARTA and then the Express Bus was surprisingly nice and cheap. Good luck.

I stepped outside, and there are big clumps falling...wait...no, a flock of geese just flew over. I'm glad elephants don't fly.

Unbelievable.

No one gets bonuses for having a wife and kid when they join the military. He may get housing allowance, health care benefits, and separation pay, but no bonus. Everything else makes sense, and this soldier is a POS. If she had left their home for 12 months, it could be considered desertion, so he could claim an "at-fault" divorce, but that is longshot on his part and hard to prove. He has little to no "leg to stand on", especially with his girlfriend in the picture. He's screwed, and deserves everything he gets. I had two childhood friends who got married two weeks before "Mike" wen

Thanks, AoD is one of my favorite movies...largely unappreciated by the masses. Bruce Campbell is great in Burn Notice, and Sam Raimi...I've heard that he's done a few good things as well.

Just another reason not to fully trust the local legal system

What's that going to prove? I'm only considering this circumstance based on the posts provided, and unless he's posted this same argument previously (doubt it), who cares if he has had issues with law enforcement and the courts. Couldn't this situation just be "adding insult to injury"? -
Pretty sure it was a Honda Accord. The license plate was in the first post, if you see "your" crappy driver again, compare it and see if I got the make wrong.

Maybe NE1 should have prevented this by not having a kid at all, that way no crime could have been committed in the first place! A pox on you NE1 for breeding, you've caused a crime wave of epic proportions! Coke will never be the same! He's not blaming the court system for the punishment, he's blaming it for what is likely a clerical error. He hasn't denied that his child made a mistake. The court system needs to do its job, and a part of its job is to file paperwork correctly and respond in a reasonable amount of time to the requests of citizens. The punishment has been completed a long -

That's funny. He should have kept her...think of it as an investment in a freak show. Here, I found a picture without crossed eyes. I think the wife was just looking for her nose. -

Right. But the only other side to the story would be whether or not his son completed his community service, not the accountability of the public servants. -

The man's son served his punishment and deserves closure. We as citizens need to demand that our civil servants do the job that our taxes pay for them to correctly complete. -
I don't know if its always being in a rush that's the biggest problem even though that is a factor; I think its arrogance and pure, unadulterated stupidity.

You, hey you, in the mid 1990s White Honda (Accord?) with bluish headlights, license plate number BKB8312...you're going to kill yourself or someone else with the way you drive. I tend to have a lead foot myself, but I don't ever drive 80 mph on Nebo Rd, especially on a dark and cold night. Nor do I pass on the left on a double yellow or blow through stop signs. Even if you don't care about yourself, think about your mom, dad, sister, brother, girlfriend, whoever. They'll cry when you've wrapped yourself around a telephone pole. If you know who this jerk is, please take away his

It isn't food service, but my best customer service experience ever was just the other day at the Home Depot in Powder Springs. The Hiram store could learn a lesson or two...
