I'm glad he has a good sense of humor, because I was freaking out. Anything I said was going to sound like a lie! I do wonder what through his mind when she started her story though. LOL!

You got it!

Many factors play into that decision. I couldn't vote.

We rented a pavilion and had a big formal party for my DD. Depends on how much you want to spend. I was lucky, family helped. MIL and Sis catered. We hung up Christmas lights and streamers. Her boyfriend's family had a family friend who worked as a DJ. We had a friend make a Mad Hatter cake. We had another friend who did photography, so I had her set up to do pics and sell packages to guests who wanted them. We had balloons and other simple decorations such as colorful candles. And we bought a used dress off ebay. Pretty cheap considering! Pick an amount and pick a theme and pick s

Reminds of something an old professor used to say: Mama's Baby, Daddy's Maybe. I always hated that saying! When his wife had a baby, I asked him how his MAYBE was doing one day. He just laughed at me.

In the hospital, it is the patient's right to determine who visits because the hospital is not the location for extra drama. I hope they realize BOTH parents have to be respectful to one another because they now have a child to think of first. If they remember that, then the child will be fine. I promise you, the child doesn't care if he or she is seen on Father's Day at this age. This moment will not scar the child for life, but what happens next can. Best of luck for the best outcome of this situation.

My DD pulled one on me when she was about 3yo. I was cooking supper and stepped into the den where my daughter was sitting in her dad's lap. He said, "Who is her other daddy?" I was completely confused. He continued, "She says she likes me better than her other daddy. He's mean and makes them stay in their room all the time." Now, I am REALLY confused and I have absolutely no idea how to respond. Finally, I just say, "I don't know what you're talking about . . . I mean, there is no other daddy. . . I mean, I don't know what I mean!" Then he cracks up. He sa

Bless her heart. That was probably what the tears were over. She probably bopped herself in the nose. That usually doesn't happen often. They manage to get the idea pretty quickly that hitting yourself hurts. You are doing fine. She is just getting prepared to really give you a run for your money when she turns 2. And, then you get it even worse when she hits about 12 or 13. LOL!

This is so sad! I hope whoever this person is, they live through this. Their family, and the deputy, would be the ones to suffer. I hope they get the help needed.

I know there is that bad wreck on Ridge Rd., I thought they had called the helicopter for that.

As long as she is sleeping, don't worry. When mine were little, they had to sleep on their sides. Then it was only on the tummies for the next round of babies. And now it is on their backs. My take is, as long as they are sleeping comfortably, then you get to rest. However is the 'right' way to sleep will change next week. To get them to stop rolling over, you can use a rolled up baby blanket on each side of the baby. It gives them some support to keep them in whatever position you choose. At least for a couple more months.

One of the hardest things we've ever had to do...

Ridgeview is a good facility. It'll be a good place for her to get what she needs. -

If it is a decent facility, she may get some real good out of it. I hope she sticks to the program and your family is healed. -
So many to choose from! When DD was in 1st grade, she was leaving for school with 2 different color socks and 2 different color shoes along with other colorful clothing. My DH asked if all the kids were dressing like that (thinking it was some school event). She said, "Nope, but they will be tomorrow!" Another time she was at my mom's work where a coworker had those little Barbie dolls from Happy Meals on her computer. She noticed DD looking at them and said, "When I was a little girl, I always wanted to grow up and look like Barbie." My daughter looked her up and down and stated

The one a few years back was friends with HWAM. She was found up a hill where she had ran in the dark. Her car was on the road.

Questionable suicide a few years back. It was in the Bartow area. This must be in the Paulding area. Sirens flew by my house.

I hate to hear this! If this is near the swimming hole, I am familiar with the area and local pedophiles have used the area to find new victims, probably because it is more of a hidden area and not closely supervised. Not sure if this is connected to this attack. Just making a connection to the area for myself. Silver Comet Trail needs to be monitored more closely to make it safe for all.
