  1. I have a sneaking suspicion that you didn't read this one either.
  2. "Some people, like to think what they say is important, even though it's gibberish."
  3. I liked the WIC program when I was in the grocery business back in the 80's. They had to get good healthy food and stuff for the kids. I thought it was a step in the right direction for helping people and trying to make sure they were not using all their food allowance on a weekend of steaks or what not. (which I have seen happen with food stamps) They did advise us that some of the mothers who were supposed to be getting the high end, extra nutrients (or whatever it had), expensive formula were getting that formula and then returning it for the standard formula, which was about a two to on
  4. I think it is a great addition to the Christmas season. I know very little about it, but it seems to be fun for all involved. I will get to meet the grandkid's Elf next week and I am looking forward to hearing about all what the elf has been doing. We ain't even got a basement...you can call home and ask my wife.
  5. I not only don't keep up with them, I really have no idea who they are. I mean, I presume they are the children of Robert Kardashian who was OJ's buddy for a while and I know that Robert's wife married Bruce Jenner, but as far as why they are popular, I have no clue. BUT, I did see some of those pictures of Kim showing off, what I was told, was a surgically enhanced posterior. I mean, even I couldn't escape seeing those pictures, they were everywhere. Ohhh, if you don't know who Robert Kardashian is, he was the guy standing next to OJ when the verdict was read, looking at OJ with amazem
  6. I have seen the pictures of that....whatever she is. I have no idea who that girl is or why she got surgery to look like that. As far as Elf on the Shelf, I thought it was just a fun thing for the kiddies and the parents, but someone told me it was to make the kids behave. In my day we had Belt on the Shelf for that. I wish I had been able to do Elf on the Shelf with my kid, but I am following the grandkid's Elf on the wife's FB so that is fun. BTW, who would ever leave a cutie pie like this?
  7. Who here remembers the blizzard of 1966? Syracuse, NY 1966
  8. WARNING! SCAM ALERT! Be on the lookout for this girl and her friend. They are hanging out around the Wal-Mart parking lot. When you go to leave they ask you for a ride to McDonald's. They are very convincing and very hot! Once in your car the girl in the picture takes her clothes off and starts climbing all over you and while she keeps you busy, the other one takes your wallet. I've had mine taken on the 7th, 8th, 10th, 11th, 16th and twice yesterday and if I am lucky two more times tomorrow. Wal-Mart has wallets for $2.99,but I found some at the dollar store for .99¢
  9. Very cool. Hope she gives you a discount on her autograph. Congratulations to your sister, it sounds like she deserves it.
  10. You have been asked very politely, by the OP, to not be negative in this thread towards LE. While I understand the freedom of speech, I also understand politeness and respect for others, as I know you do also. I am sure that after further thought about the matter, you will respect lowriders's request and refrain from posting negative things about LE in this thread. I know you are passionate, but I also know you respect other people and their feelings and requests.
  11. Woo hoo!! Twenty-five more pennies that is mine...all mine! I'll show her yet!
  12. Ain't we all glad all I can do is flap my lips. (or my finger)
  13. I could sure use some cash, my wife would find out if I took a check. You know I am just joshing ya.
  14. I was just making the point that the only thing that N Korea has to offer the world is problems, the movie is just an example. If we nuke N Korea, then I suggest we also include the idiots who made this movie at the same time.
  15. It is interesting that a country in which half the population has never even seen a movie, stops a movie from being shown. Heck, the majority of N Korea's population doesn't even have electricity. What would the loss to the world be if we nuked N Korea out of existence? Except to make the world safer.
  16. Am I the only one who gets a strong sense of jealousy from those who rail and complain about the wealthy?
  17. Loose, Fat Pete eats most of it, the other cats don't care much for it. But, since Fat Pete has started in on the hard stuff, he doesn't get much Nip anymore, he wants the good stuff.
  18. Anything that has Garfunkel and Oates involved has to be AWESOME. Kate has been working with some Muppet's (or Muppet like creatures) recently. Knowing her love of puppets, she has probably been very happy.
  19. Wrong. No pop ups or pictures or the technical words, like thingie or whatchamacallit or dodad or dohicky.
  20. I tried to take my cat to the dangers of catnip, but he was not willing to go.
