I had a BB gun as a kid and loved it. Many hours of fun. I still have it, although it doesn't shoot, it sorta dribbles. But a couple years ago I bought a BB/pellet gun. I wanted to be able to shoot squirrels at my mother's house, well, she wanted me to shoot them. (although so far, it is me 0, squirrels...well however many there are, 20-30) (I'm just to lazy to wait them out) I also bought it for me to shoot for fun,which I have done and for my grandkids to learn to shoot, which they are.

I don't know, but I suspect they are good decent people who are trying to do the right thing in a very tough and very bad situation.

I was thinking of the CCC when I suggested picking up trash. I have no clue why the federal government doesn't put something like that in place. It not only gave a large portion of men jobs, it taught many of them skills, helped them support their families and at the same time helped them feel productive and contributing to society and the country. Many of the state parks, lakes and other wonderful things that we have and enjoy all across this country is due to the men who were in the CCC. It just makes sense.

Cards, while I understand where you are coming from, I also understand the otherside. I know this fellow who when he was younger was a pretty active check kiter, which if you don't know is illegal. The banks caught on and closed his accounts, but didn't prosecute. Flash forward 5 or 6 years and the fellow has straightened his life out.
