  1. Poodle was still running around yapping, so the wife and I had pork loin with baked sweet potato, while watching reruns of Barney Miller.
  2. Wife cooked some sort of pork loin, but since she rarely cooks and she has been mad at me all weekend, I am afraid to eat it. I fed some to the poodle and if he is still kicking in an hour or so, I may try it.
  3. It's a song about slamming rich people, doesn't that warm the cockles of your heart? (plus they are cute)
  4. I have decided in the spirit of detente to come clean and post a video that I have been keeping secret. This is for all my liberal friends, my girls singing their "Save the Rich" song. (why are all the girls I love big liberals?) Warning: It has the F word three times, other than that, no other curse words
  5. Boy, did we miss a good time last night in Las Vegas. I sure wish we had been there. (the wife and I had a Garfunkel and Oates Youtube video binge instead) The girls arrived in Las Vegas to find billboards and trucks touting their awesomeness! Then Riki did some color blocking and sound checks at the Venatian. (or it's another one of those, "what color is this dress" deals) Kate backstage getting ready to go "kill". (I am pretty sure she was texting me, but it got lost in the storm or clouds or whatever it's called)
  6. Might be true, I googled Mr Wonderful and my stuff came up. I also googled, old man with delusion that cute young actress/singer/comedian/writer is in love with him, and all my posts about Kate showed up.
  7. The wife and I are watching The Jinx from start to finish. I have just made her promise me that if she ever is called for jury duty and gets questioned to be on a jury, that she will say the following. "You need to know that I will actually only listen to, or pay attention to, perhaps 10% to 25% of what is actually said or takes place here. Fifty percent of what I don't listen to or pay attention to, I will just make up what I think was going to be said or was going to happen. The other 50% that I will have no idea of what was said or took place, just as if it never happened." I am not b
  8. If you haven't visited anyone at the jail recently, they have a new system. It is an automated kiosk and you visit by video.
  9. You have a point. But that is my explination to CC as to why I don't have respect for that particular poster.
  10. It's not because we don't share political views or opinions, after all, you, Mrnn, my wife, pubby and many other people have major differences in political views and opinions and I respect them. Most of them, I have major respect for. (excluding Mrnn's golf game and my wife's taste in men) In the specific case we are speaking of, my lack of respect comes from my personal belief that this particular poster is the same person that used to post under another account, often with a British accent. I could be wrong, but that is my belief.
  11. "You funny" means I have so little respect for that person that the only thing I can say about them is, you funny. I usually use it for the same poster, regardless of whatever screen name they use.
  12. There are cases of cheating on both ends. Example, the Mafia helps get JFK elected in the closest presidential race in modern times. Why would the Mafia help rig the Chicago and IL vote, because that old bootlegger himself, Joe Kennedy ask them to.
  13. I am a little bit of a geek on this (and most US wars) also. If my memory is right, Stuart was allowed great latitude in his movements and there was some question if he knew his role was pivotal in the battle. But all agree he was missing when he was needed. I'm guessing you wouldn't want one of Jeb's feathers from his cap.
  14. Wow, outside reports with specific numbers on what type jobs might be expected. "A report by Georgia Tech’s Enterprise Innovation Institute (GTEII) and entitled “Economic and Fiscal Impacts of a Proposed Great Wolf Lodge in Fayette County, Georgia” is included in the online agenda packet. The report concluded that with “nearly half a million visitor nights expected at full operation, it is estimated that the economic impact of the Great Wolf Lodge on Fayette County would be more than $75 million and would generate nearly 770 jobs across the economy resulting in more than $20 million in loc
  15. Sorry your day was dreary, but at least you had the right weather for it. It was that kind a day for a lot of us. My wife likes the lines: get out your bat and bash his memory
  16. Do what I did, give em everything and then some. Hurts, but gets it over quick and is cheaper in the long run, not to mention the savings on the Malox. Sort like ripping a bandage off.
