My thoughts are that these rules have come about for basically three reasons. 1. People feel that every precived slight is a federal case and they push their agenda in the courts and in the press. And instead of someone telling them bull****, grow up, life isn't always fair, deal with it. Others jump on the band wagon, because it fits their agenda. 2. The media has sunk so low in what is considered "news", that something that used to be a simple problem that was barely worth mentioning between neighbors is now a lead story. This also follows the media's agenda that they are pushing.

I always thought that Ray had a lot to do with the success of the group musically. After reading this thread, I have put his book on my reading list.

While I am not here to say that Pubby is not telling it like it is about why the thread was deleted, but I am of the opinion that is was do to some comments made about UGA and GA Tech. We all know that "battle" can get out of hand quickly. The next thing you know, there are husbands not speaking to wives, wives not speaking to husbands, family heritages are called into question, IQ's are questioned, the ability to tie ones shoes or pour liquid from boots is discussed. When the Titanic hit the iceberg, the ship was doomed to sink. There was nothing that the crew could do that would keep the ship from sinking. There were steps that they could have taken that would have delayed the sinking and there were steps that they could have taken that waould have saved more people, but the shipwas going to sink, no matter what. I have one of these tea kettles and it works great. The only problem I have found with it is that when I make french toast, it invades the frying pan.
