It's a shame that dumb ole rednecks aren't smart enough to understand why they need an HOA. Or...........do they really get it? -
HOA force you to change Garbage company?

I will just say this about HOAs. I made one of the largest purchases I will ever make and I am now going to let people I do not know tell me what I can do and cannot do with the item that I purchased. That to me is...........I hate HOAs, and I will leave it at that. Good luck dealing with the garbage. Oh and good luck with your trash issue also. -
That is one group that I always try to donate to. It was my understanding, that they have always went to the area and tried to help those who were really down and out, regardless of what that person was or what they believed as far as spiritual matters. That is one reason I always tried to make sure and support them. Glad to hear that is still the case.

I thought they were all open 24/7 ?

Nope, but it shouldn't be hard to find. It has a cashier with a bandage on her finger.

I would rather she sell part of her shoes than sell her soul.

OK, that's the girl from that award show that was doing all that crap. Got it. Now my question is what happened to just singing the song. You know, just standing there, fully clothed and singing? Wait! I think I know, the songs today suck, so they have to get nekked so people will listen. Thank god that Kate Smith, Ethel Merman and others didn't need to get nude to sing.

That was funny. (sadly it is also true) But funny.

That Hot-n-Fresh sign will do it every time.

The Postman is going to love you! -
I said "IF it was 40 years ago", then "maybe you made a bigger deal than was needed." And I went on to say that, "BUT, in today's world, with things that can kill ya, I would say you made a point." So basically I was agreeing with you. Even if it was 40 years ago, you still had a point. I also added that the manager mishandled the situation. (I sometimes forget that not everyone who reads my posts are in my head at the time I type them) But I understand, this thread has taken some strange twists and turns. (or maybe it is just me and the after affects from the rock&roll, sex a

Poop, sex and drugs? I always thought it was: Rock&roll, sex and drugs. Dang, I been doing it wrong for over 30 years.

If it was 40 years ago, I would say that I agree, but maybe you made a bigger deal than was needed. BUT, in today's world, with things that can kill ya, I would say you made a point. Sadly it was not taken. I do not worry that I will get the aids, but I would hate to find out I did by something as dumb as what you described and sadly, there is no going back in time and changing it, if it did happen. ETA The manager should have simply said the young girl made a mistake and now she has been told it was a mistake and we thank you for bringing it to our attention. It will not happen agai

There was mascara? Just kidding, I still haven't seen the video.

Not politically correct and the Mexican population would fry "foul".

If you like classic movies, you have seen Giant. (or at least most of it a different time, it is a long movie) The story line is still relevant today.

You've heard of Puff the Magic Dragon?

For Christmas, my son gave my the entire DVD collection of the show. Like y'all, I love the B&W ones the best, but one day I will watch some of the ones in color.

Sorry TP, that is just not true! I am neither a midget nor a dwarf and I pay taxes.

I wished I had thought of that before my 1st wedding.

That is cool stuff. I was aware of most of that, but I did not know about the TV show. I knew that Andy and Don became friends during the run of the play and I may be mistaken, but I think Andy fought to keep a part for Don in the movie. Andy Griffith was, of course, from NC and Don Knotts was from W.VA, so they had a lot in common. That is one reason that The Andy Griffith Show sounds like it was written by real southerners, Andy and Don would "county" the script up and made sure it passed the "southern" test.

I have told you before, watch what you say about Cary, he and I are BFF's. Bet you didn't think I knew that one did ya?

Never saw the remakes. Why look at cheap xerox copy of the Mona Lisa when you can look at the real thing? (although Sandler does have some talent, bad script choices, but some talent)

Ohh, Watcher in the Woods the movie. I never saw it, but wasn't Bette Davis in it?
