His name is Charles Stanley (Stan) Parsons and I heard he passed away last Saturday. His son Zach passed away in September. If you knew Stan and know about his passing, please send me a PM. Thank you. I know Stan may not have always taken the best road, but I enjoyed his friendship a few years ago and I had hopes for better things for him in the future.

I have been watching pro football since the mid 60's. I have been attending pro games live since the late 70's. Up until a few years ago, I went to every Falcons home game since 1980. I have seen a lot of football both on TV and in person and I can tell you that the hitting back in the day was more consistently harder than today. In other words, the players hit harder more often then they do now. Perhaps it is because they played with more heart and drive back then.
