Well, they did say 'More Saving'..........

I was in the grocery business for 15 years, in fact I am eligible for my retail clerks pension. I used to see the kid thing some, not as much in my day as your see it today, but one thing I used to see a lot of was women leaving their purse in the buggy and walking away to get something. I would always suggest that they not do that as someone might grab it and run, some ladies thanked me and some ladies got put out. But then those who got put out about it never had to chase the crook, but I chased a few. -
Why is it that cartoons are still on my TV........

I have noticed that when the grandkids visit. -
Not sure why they call them "Adult" bookstores? Seems like they have more pictures than words, shouldn't they be called "Toddler" bookstores?

Someone has to be first. If it didn't work what the way they wanted, I say rework the formula and try it again on the next guy. Maybe it is like Heinze 57, it will take 56 tries before we get the next one right. -
Thanks LR, I needed that info also. Never occurred to me to ask.

Please do not correct my grammar. (you do not have that kind of time) In school, back when the teachers still used red ink, my english papers looked like a blood bath had occurred.

Why not use a bullet instead of a painless needle prick?

I understand what you are saying, but since it is not that way, let's go with the worst punishment we can legally do, the death penalty, carried out in a timely manner. By the way, ever heard of Richard Speck? In 1966 he tortured and murdered eight student nurses in Chicago, raping one of the nurses several times. At the time, it was "The Crime of the Century". An alcoholic and drug addict drifter, he was in and out of jail his entire life until that event in 1966. He was sentenced to death, but that sentence was overturned and he ended up with life in prison. Here is a quote from -
Thank you for the update.

What do you mean you want to take my drivers license away? Ohhh, because I got a ticket last week? I haven't even gone to court on that ticket yet. Ohhh, don't you dare bring up my past driving record, with all the wrecks and traffic violations! Those are separate issues! Don't you dare try to say that because I have screwed up, over and over in the past, that you feel I screwed up this time and may screw up again. It is unfair to use my past successes and failures to try and determine if I may succeed or fail this time. What? It happens every day in the real world? Thank god I don

Let me ask you a question, is it not a lawyer's job and responsibility to get the best outcome for their client in a trial? If a lawyer deliberately tries to get the worst outcome for their client in a trial, are they not then not only doing their client a disservice as well as opening themselves up to a lawsuit, not to mention being disbarred? I cannot believe and refuse to believe that this country is full of lawyers who are deliberately trying to get the worst outcome for their clients. Therefore when someone tells me that life in prison is worse than death, I can only point to those law -
By golly, it has been a while since I have heard that term and a good term it is. For those who may not know, plinking is just shooting for fun, perhaps at cans, bottles or whatever, often done with a .22. It used to be real popular when I was younger, we would walk through the woods and just have fun seeing who could out shoot the other. Thanks for the memories.

I agree about the lawyers. I think, unless there is DNA that will possibly reverse the verdict, then you should get one appeal at the state level, one appeal at the federal level and both have to be heard in one year, then sentence is carried out. While I understand, and somewhat agree with your point on style of execution, I do not in the end have an issue with a painless death injection. Bottom line, get the sentence carried out within a year. (then we will see if it is a deterrent, which it is, at least to that one killer) -
I always enjoyed his songs. He had quite a few good ones.

Gotcha. :sigh: I just wish I knew which crook was my crook, then I would know who to back.

I would say that horse has left the barn, that cat is out of the bag, that dog won't hunt, that train has left the station. (I got more, but you get the idea) And we agree on your last sentence. Although at this point, I am not sure that Propeller won't give them more, it may not, that is why I am not sure.

I do not have any ideas, but please thank him for us (my family) for his service to our country and tell him "Simper Fi marine".

Soooo, if I follow that logic, then we should allow any elected official to do whatever they want, no matter what, because we elected them. Is there anything they could do that would make you say wait a minute? Theft, lies, rape, murder....stop me when I get to one that offends. I still love ya brother. (you know in the manly, non homosexual, play golf and talk about women, way) Any worry about our elected and appointed officials getting fleas?

I think and hope that you are smarter than that. Of course they are making them up as they go along. What happened today makes me very sad. I truly thought that while I know you and those who are so opposed to the commercialization of the airport would most likely not agree or accept the answers you received. I was certain that we have a list of these questions and answers and I was very much looking forward to reading what the questions and answers were. Questions and answers that I was sure they would be happy to hear and give. After all, it only makes sense for them to take the op

Really, that's the response to a group of elected and appointed officials who will not even take questions from the people they WORK for? I am amazed at the liberals on here who are taking the governments side. A government that will not allow the citizens to have a voice in what goes on.....oh wait....... my bad, I forgot, that is what liberalism is all about, "We know what's best for you! Don't ask questions!"......never mind.

So the Airport Authority wouldn't let the tax paying citizens of this county speak, because they hadn't followed proper procedure? Hmmmmmmm, that says something to me. "Little boy, sit down and shut up until I tell you when you can speak." How much more can these people screw up in the public relations area? I am a firm believer that if you have a good thing going, you tell the facts and let reasonable people judge for themselves. You stand up and answer questions, after all, what you have going is a good thing overall for the county, be proud and do not be afraid. Yes, there will be s

Ok, I did it just cause I could. Don't take it serious, it wasn't.

Funny, I just realized when I read it, that I do the same. I glance at the clock if it is at night. But they better ask me soon afterword, because my memory isn't as good as it was.
