In 1927 a man ups and leaves his wife and daughter. He doesn't tell them why or where he is going. Over the years the daughter received short letters from her father, always professing his love, but never saying where he is or why he left. Then, in 1945, the mother and daughter receives a telegram that their husband and father has died and left everything to them. What was the reason this man left his family? Ok TP, here is how I see things. Are there some LE officers that do bad and/or illegal things, yes. Are there some LE agencies that do, condone and/or cover up, bad and/or illegal things, yes. Do these things need to be brought to the public's and proper authorities attention, absolutely. BUT When someone sees bad, illegal and/or corrupt behavior in situations where the average person doesn't see that. When someone says that all, LE is bad, illegal and/or corrupt. I guess I'm just not that important, I am quite sure that you could ask every cop in the country who I was and unless they were someone that used to work with somewhere or I went to school with, they would not know who I was. (even if I did used to work with them or went to school with them, they still might not know) So I am not that worried that some LE person, who has no clue who I am, will "frame" me with anything. I am fairly certain that LE isn't just picking people at random out of the phone book and saying, let's frame this person. (do we still have phone books?)

I understand and appreciate your commitment to a cause you believe to be just. But it was just a little humor.

I know I'm not the brightest bulb in the lamp, but please help me understand something. The CDC and government and many others say it is not that easy to get the ebola. In fact, according to some, the selfish, self centered dude from W Africa who came to the US really didn't put others in harms way. Now the spokesperson or head of the CDC was on the news saying that this is the worst outbreak of the ebola ever. And that it was not be easy to stop, nor will it happen quickly. Is it just me and my 40 watt bulb that I have a hard time reconciling those two things? Like I always say

I hope everyone, on both sides, will forgive me, but I get a chuckle every time I see the topic title. I do not know if it was done deliberately, but I enjoy it. AIRPORT GROUP MOVING FORWARD The title is about a group that many say wishes to never move forward and in fact, go backward. I can tell you what I hope and think I have the moral fiber and care for others not to do. That is to lie and get on a plane and go to another country to try and save my own ass at the expense of possibly hundreds of other peoples lives. I fail to see how anyone can defend this man. But then again, I guess it has been that way all through history and that is why things that we look back on now and say, couldn't they see what would happen if they didn't nip it in the bud (a nod to Barney)?

I can safely say that none of my uncles would put hundreds of lives at risk just to try and save their own hide.
